Annual Summary 2017/2018

The last twelve months have been an exciting time for those of us connected with Shetland Arts. We have delivered over four-and-a-half-thousand concerts, screenings and exhibition days across a wide variety of art forms and genres. We continued to expand our education and wellbeing work with over two thousand development sessions being delivered and a new BA in Film Making being launched. No four page summary can provide the detail of all that we have achieved; if you’re interested, a more detailed breakdown of our activity for the year is contained in our 2017/18 Trustees’ Report and Financial Statement available from our website and venues. For the third year in a row we have made a surplus, which with ever tightening funding is an achievement we should celebrate. Our thanks go out to all our partners, our funders Creative Scotland and Shetland Charitable Trust and the Shetland Arts’ staff team who have worked with dedication and enthusiasm. Our final thanks go to all of you for supporting us - we look forward to continuing to entertain, delight and inspire you in the coming years.
