G.Loomis Materials
Materials
G Loomis has always been at the forefront of rod building technology and the GLX carbon found in most of our rods has proved to be an outstanding performer. However the latest developments are now to be found in the resin that ‘glues’ the carbon fibres together and the most advanced is ‘silica nano’ particles. G Loomis was one of the first rod building companies in the world to utilise this development and it can be found in all NRX rods. Whilst some manufactures are using the word ‘nano’ in their rod descriptions, the use of silica nano (which is by far the best) is actually limited to only a handful of rod producers. NRX – (Silica nano resin)
NRX uses extremely high modulus carbon combined with the most advanced Silica Nano Matrix technology available. For the record, all rod blanks use resin. It’s the ‘glue’ that bonds the carbon fibres together. The secret to NRX is the nano silica particles in the resin. They are so minute they infiltrate all the gaps in the carbon fibre providing much more surface area for the resin to adhere to, dramatically increasing overall strength. What this means to the angler is a rod that is far stronger, far lighter and more sensitive, a revelation in the world of graphite fishing rods, no matter what type of fishing you choose.
GLX
Next to NRX this is our highest performing graphite system. Its high modulus, high tensile strength provides an extremely light yet sensitive rod blank that delivers amazing performance across the entire range. GLX has been the very backbone of our product range for many years and maintains a dominant position as a favourite with anglers in the know. -5-
Rod Protection
All G Loomis rods come with a protective travel tube to minimise the chances of rod damage. Whilst we have no doubt that our rods are made to the highest standards and are protected by our G Loomis warranty, transporting your rod in the tube provided will protect it against damaging knocks and accidents which can weaken the integrity of the rod blank.
Still Water Rods There is no doubt that Still Water angling forms an incredibly important part of our Game fishing here in the UK and with that in mind our Still Water selection reects the needs of both the enthusiastic pleasure angler through to our highly skilled competition finalists. From NRX to Pro4x, these rods are all about strength and distance, with lightness and engaging usability designed into each model. ShoreStalker
The ShoreStalker series is a special range of predator rods that were designed for targeting fish that hide away in thick undergrowth where they generally burst out from cover to ambush their prey. Whilst originally designed for predator species such as pike, these rods are an effective tool for all forms of shallow, warm saltwater species. These rods are meant for stalking the shoreline, rocky points and overhanging mangroves. In essence the sort of areas where a short accurate cast is far more critical than distance. The rods will load with minimal line and have enough power and accuracy to punch lures and streamers into a small opening at 20 yards.

Fiber Blend Light Spinning & Bait
Fiber Blend Handle
These Fiber Blend rods have been specifically designed for light spinning and a variety of bait fishing applications. Available in both a 10’ 6” and 11’ versions, they are long for a good reason. You need to be able to mend line so you can maintain a drag free drift and cover as much water as possible, so when you lift the tip you can set the hook. This extra length also helps protect lighter line, especially considering the size of the fish. These rods are beautifully handcrafted with Fuji guides, Fuji reel seats and lightweight cork grips. We use our proprietary ‘Fiber Blend’ technology to reduce weight and apply specific characteristics for each section of the rod, for strength as well as balance and sensitivity.

This warranty covers G.Loomis branded products distributed by Shimano Normark UK Limited.
Warranty Period
Shimano warrants to the original owner that G.Loomis rods are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal conditions and reasonable use for the lifetime of the original owner.
General provisions
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners. It shall remain in force only as long as you retain ownership of the Product. This warranty only applies in the UK. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights. Shimano reserves the right to revise this limited warranty without notice.
Warranty Handling
To make a valid claim under this warranty, please return the G.Loomis Product to Felindre Servicing, Felindre, Swansea, SA5 7ND. (01792 796584) with the original, dated invoice or receipt. If, having inspected the G.Loomis Product, Felindre Servicing accepts that the G.Loomis Product is defective, they will (in its sole discretion) either repair or replace the G.Loomis Product or rod section without charge.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover: • The G.Loomis Product if it has been modified or repaired by a person other than Felindre Servicing. • The G.Loomis Product if it has been used for rental or commercial purposes. • Damage resulting from causes other than defects in materials and workmanship, including but not limited to accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, improper assembly, improper repair, improper maintenance, alteration, modification or other abnormal, excessive or improper use. • Damage occurring during shipment of the G.Loomis Product. • Products that are not manufactured under the G.Loomis brand (whether or not packaged or sold with the G.Loomis product at the time of purchase). • Damage resulting from use of products which are defective or incompatible with the G.Loomis Product. • Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, including but not limited to damage or deterioration to the surface finish, aesthetics or appearance of the G.Loomis Product (eg. cork material). NB: Rod breakage due to defects in materials and workmanship occur occasionally and would normally appear upon first usage. This warranty expressly provides for the repair or replacement of a defective G.Loomis Product and is the sole remedy of the warranty. Any and all other remedies and damage that may otherwise be applicable are excluded, including but not limited to, incidental and consequential damages. -50-
