Sir, President’s Circle Weekend is September 27-29, 2012, Sir!


Weekend

Mission – To recognize alumni, parents, friends, and corporations who contribute $2,500 or more annually in support of the U.S. Naval Academy and Brigade of Midshipmen.

– To educate and inform President’s Circle donors how their gifts impact the development of the future leaders in the Navy and Marine Corps as well as the mission-critical activities of the Alumni Association and Foundation.

– To engage donors in a weekend of tradition and pride.


Parent Luncheon Thursday, September 27 Bo Coppedge Room, Alumni Hall Noon – 1:30 p.m. Invitees are parents of current midshipmen and midshipmen who have graduated.

Seminars Your support ensures that the Naval Academy continues to provide a rigorous, world-class undergraduate education while ensuring the curriculum is responsive to the needs required of future officers to meet the emerging technical, social, and humanitarian challenges confronting today’s—and tomorrow’s—Navy and Marine Corps. The enclosed is a listing of seminars being offered which represent some of the educational opportunities that are funded by private gifts. Please indicate on the reply card which seminar you wish to attend and the number attending. For example, Seminar A, #2. There is space provided for a spouse or guest who may wish to attend a different seminar. Location and room number of seminars will be announced in the “Good Gouge” which will be sent to you prior to President’s Circle Weekend.

Brigade Musician Concert A special and unique evening performance featuring the Brigade’s most talented singers and instrumentalists! Massenet’s Meditation from Thais for violin and organ…incredible piano solos…the debut of the Naval Academy Chamber Choir, and much more. Don’t miss a note!

“Taste of Maryland” A farm to table tailgate featuring seasonal food grown or raised in Maryland.
