Grasping smoked-out sensual R&B and widescreen pop sensibilities inside of an 80s-inspired, highfashion fever dream, Michigan-born and Los Angeles-based singer, producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Bazzi wants to take you on a trip. “There’s a genuine feeling in my music,” he exclaimed. “It’s a mix of everything I grew up on… got a swag and flow, but you’re in this fantasy world at the same time.” Opening for Bazzi is artist Bryce Vine. balancing the bass-heavy reality rap he was baptized in, flying down Los Angeles’ freeways with his father; the bright and sunny pop aesthetic of a happy childhood in Manhattan; the DIY ethos of the punk band he formed in high school; the loose and breezy reggae and gospel ensembles of college; and mellow stylings of crooner jazz and classic soul. An additional opener will be announced at a later date. bazziofficial.com brycevine.com
NEW! Chicks with Hits Tour featuring Terri Clark, Pam Tillis, and Suzy Bogguss
FRI | FEB 8 | 7:30 PM $65 | Front Orchestra $65 | Orchestra/Front Balcony/Side Balconies $55 | Upper Orchestra $45 | Upper Balcony Three powerhouse female country music singers will take to the Luhrs Center stage for one night of hit after hit excitement when Terri Clark, Pam Tillis, and Suzy Bogguss bring their Chicks with Hits tour to Shippensburg! With over 5 million albums sold, critically acclaimed international tours, and hit singles such as “Better Things To Do,” “Poor, Poor Pitiful Me,” “Girls Lie Too,” “Northern Girl,” and “I Just Wanna Be Mad,” Terri Clark has solidified her place in the history books of country music. Pam Tillis has always insisted on writing and cutting songs that speak from the soul. With six No. 1 hits and fourteen top ten singles, Tillis knows all about breaking the platinum barrier. Her many hits include “Maybe It Was Memphis,” “Mi Vida Loca,” “Spilled Perfume,” “Don’t Tell Me What To Do,” and “Let That Pony Run” and more. During the creative explosion that was country music in the 1990s, Suzy Bogguss sold 4 million records with sparking radio hits like “Outbound Plane,” “Someday Soon,” “Letting Go,” and “Drive South.” But, you can’t peg Bogguss that easily. She also expanded past the boundaries of her solo country music successes to include duets with the legendary Chet Atkins, modern swing music with Ray Benson of Asleep At The Wheel, and an album of original music in 2007 that landed her at No. 4 on the jazz charts. terriclark.com pamtillis.com suzybogguss.com

NEW! Blood, Sweat & Tears and WAR
FRI | MAR 15 | 7:30 PM $79 | Front Orchestra $79 | Orchestra/ Front Balcony/ Side Balconies $69 | Upper Orchestra $59 | Upper Balcony It’s been five decades since drummer/producer Bobby Colomby and friends assembled Blood, Sweat & Tears, the first group to successfully blend rock and jazz into a genrecrossing sound and style. So successfully in fact, that the band’s second album, Blood, Sweat & Tears, topped the Billboard charts for many weeks and beat out The Beatles’ Abbey Road for the prestigious Album of the Year GRAMMY award. That album produced three major hit singles: “You Made Me So Very Happy,” “Spinning Wheel,” and “And When I Die.” BS&T has won three GRAMMY’s and was nominated over ten times. The year was 1969, and these kids had the nerve to carry the name WAR at a time when peace was the slogan in an anti-Vietnam America. Their mission was to spread a message of brotherhood and harmony. WAR, the original street band, was brought together by veteran record producer Jerry Goldstein and rock legend Eric Burdon (ex-lead singer of The Animals). Burdon and WAR remained together through the early 70s, and ended the relationship with the beginning of WAR’s solo, self-titled album in 1971. WAR’s many hits include “Spill The Wine,” “Me And Baby Brother,” “Low Rider,” “Why Can’t We Be Friends?,” and “Summer”. bloodsweatandtears.com war.com

All told, Knight has recorded more than thirty-eight albums over the years, including four solo albums during the past decade. Her many years performing with “The Pips” yielded top twenty hits such as “Every Beat of My Heart,” “I Heard it Through the Grapevine,” “Midnight Train to Georgia,” and many more. gladysknight.com HOPE Diversity Scholarships are awarded to first-year students from ethnically diverse populations, who demonstrate excellence in academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and SAT scores.

22 For over four decades, Blue Öyster Cult has thrilled fans of intelligent hard rock worldwide with powerful albums loaded with classic songs. The Long Island, NYbased band is revered within the hard rock and heavy metal scene for its pioneering work. Blue Öyster Cult occupies a unique place in rock history because it’s one of very few hard rock/heavy metal bands to earn both genuine mainstream critical acclaim as well as commercial success. BÖC’s canon includes three stone-cold classic songs that will waft through the cosmos long after the sun has burned out: The truly haunting “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper,” the pummeling “Godzilla,” and the hypnotically melodic “Burnin’ for You.” The band is often cited as a major influence by other acts such as Metallica, and BÖC was listed in VH1’s countdown of the greatest hard rock bands of all time. Joining BÖC is Tampa band, The Outlaws, known for their triple-guitar rock attack and three-part country harmonies. For The Outlaws, it was always about the music. For forty years, the southern rock legends celebrated triumphs, endured tragedies, and survived legal nightmares to remain one of the most influential and best-loved bands of the genre. Now, The Outlaws return with new music, new focus, and an uncompromising new mission. It’s about a band of brothers bound together by history, harmony, and the road. It’s about a group that respects its own legacy while refusing to be defined by its past. But most of all, it’s about pride. Their hits include “(Ghost) Riders in the Sky,” “There Goes Another Love Song,” and “Song for You.” blueoystercult.com outlawsmusic.com
