Little River Band with Firefall

Little River Band (LRB) garnered huge chart success with multi-platinum albums and chart-topping hits in the 70s and 80s. Their worldwide album, CD, and digital downloads amass to more than 350 million. LRB continues to deliver distinctive harmonies and vocal abilities under the direction of 41-year LRB veteran, lead vocalist and bass player Wayne Nelson. To date, Wayne has contributed his talents on 24 of Little River Band’s albums/CDs. LRB was honorably dubbed “the best singing band in the world” by Eagles founding member, the late Glenn Frey. Little River Band has undergone an evolution or two since its origins as an Australian rock band hungry to make it in America. Fans nostalgic for such tunes as “Reminiscing” or “Lady” can join us to hear the current incarnation for a night of fantastic music, memories, and more. Their song “Reminiscing” has garnered more than 5 million air plays on American radio, with “Lady” following close behind with more than 4 million air plays. In September 2015, the band was awarded Casino Entertainer of the Year at the G2E Gaming Expo in Las Vegas.
Firefall has enjoyed a career that spans more than forty years and shows no sign of slowing down. Firefall's commercial success includes three gold albums, two platinum albums, and 11 chart-topping singles. The band's biggest hit, "You Are the Woman," has been played on commercial radio more than 7,000,000 times and has also appeared in many movies and television shows. Other hit songs include "Goodbye I Love You," "Cinderella," "Strange Way," "Mexico," and "Just Remember I Love You."

Rhythm and Blues legends The Stylistics are one of the most successful soul groups ever with 12 straight Top Ten hits in the early ‘70s including: “You Are Everything,” “Betcha by Golly Wow,” “I’m Stone in Love with You,” “Break up to Make Up,” “Let’s Put it All Together,” and “You Make Me Feel Brand New.” Among their peers, they were one of the smoothest and sweetest soul groups of their era.
That famous Philly Soul sound is still groovin’ today as The Stylistics celebrate their 50th anniversary with original founding members Airrion Love and Herb Murell, plus Jason Sharp and the newest Stylistic, “Bo” Henderson (former lead vocalist of The Temptations) whose amazing falsetto makes you feel as though you are listening to the hit songs exactly as you first heard them on vinyl.
Founding members Herbert Murrell and Airrion Love, friends since junior high school, have managed to keep the music alive with the newest members of the group Jason Sharp and Barrington “Bo” Henderson, proving that old school is still cool.

The Grass Roots is an American rock band that charted frequently between 1966 and 1975, selling 20 million records worldwide. Originally created by Lou Adler and songwriting duo P. F. Sloan and Steve Barri, this powerhouse has achieved two gold albums, one gold single, and charted singles a total of 21 times. Currently, band members chosen by Ron Grill are carrying on the legacy of the group with nationwide live performances. Hits include "Let's Live for Today," "Midnight Confessions," and "Sooner or Later."
The Buckinghams have stayed true to their roots from Chicago’s Holiday Ballroom to America’s living room on The Ed Sullivan Show, across the USA and in the White House. Audiences and critics have affirmed the demand for their music, proving that success is sweeter the second time around. Original founding members Carl Giammarese and Nick Fortuna continue to deliver a powerful replay of their hits and solid gold memories. Hits include "Kind of a Drag," "Don't You Care," and "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy."
The Box Tops are Memphis style blue-eyed soul featuring founding members Bill Cunningham and Gary Talley. You can feel that gentle southern breeze and smell the smoky barbecue like you’re walking down Beale Street to the beat of their sweet, sensuous, slightly gritty sounds. Hits include "The Letter," "Neon Rainbow," and "Cry Like a Baby."

Ballroom dancing continues trending and entertaining audiences on television. It’s a great form of exercise for all ages and a lifelong skill that can provide years of enjoyment. Seasoned dance instructor, Frank Hancock, will have you learning popular dance moves in the inspirational setting of the Luhrs Center stage in no time.
Learn the basics as a beginner, or brush up your skills if you’ve already had lessons. Beginners will learn the tango, cha-cha, swing, and foxtrot, while the more seasoned advanced class will learn the swing with tandem Charleston, Carolina shag, waltz, rumba, hustle, and bachata. Both singles and couples are welcome.

Black Violin

This Grammy®-nominated band is led by classically trained string players Wil B. (viola) and Kev Marcus (violin). Joining them onstage are DJ SPS and drummer Nat Stokes. The band uses their unique blend of classical and hip-hop music to overcome stereotypes while encouraging people of all ages, races, and economic backgrounds to join together to break down cultural barriers. Black Violin has recently joined with Turnaround Arts, alongside artists such as Yo-Yo Ma and Elton John to bring arts education to struggling schools in underserved communities. Turnaround Arts is a program of the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts founded by President Obama’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities. The group has collaborated creatively with artists such as Kanye West, Aerosmith, Tom Petty, Wu-Tang Clan, Wyclef Jean, and Alicia Keys. In addition, Black Violin has composed for a major FOX Television original "Pitch" and has been featured by ESPN as the official artist of the 2017 US Open (tennis) and 2016 and 2017 Heisman Trophy Award ceremonies. They have been featured on The Tonight Show, Ellen, The Wendy William’s Show, NPR, and more.

Hours of Operation
The Luhrs Center box office is open 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday, closed Saturday and Sunday unless there is a performance. On performance days, the box office will remain open thirty minutes after curtain and during intermission. For Saturday or Sunday performances, the box office will open two hours prior to curtain time unless otherwise specified. The Luhrs Center is closed on holidays.

The Luhrs Center box office is the official outlet to purchase Luhrs Center tickets. We are not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized third parties.

A non-refundable $4 per ticket service charge will be applied to each ticket purchased online or by phone, as well as a non-refundable $4 postage and handling fee for the entire ticket order when tickets are mailed. These fees are non-refundable whether the show is canceled or postponed for any reason.
*A $35 service charge will be imposed on each returned check in addition to any charges that may be assessed by the financial institution. The Luhrs Center also requires that the check writer pay the amount due with cash, certified check, or money order.
Ticket Policies
CHILDREN
All children, ages one and over, are required to hold tickets for performances at the Luhrs Center and must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian in all areas of the Luhrs Center.
EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be given under any circumstance unless an event is canceled or rescheduled (see canceled or rescheduled events). Internet fees and mailing fees are not refundable under any circumstances. You can purchase tickets in person at the Luhrs Center box office to avoid service charges. The Luhrs Center does not rate performer content or make a judgment about the suitability of a performance unless the performer informs the Luhrs Center that the performance may not be suitable for all age groups. The Luhrs Center strongly urges ticket buyers to be informed about the performers/ performances for which they are purchasing tickets. Performer content is not a reason for a ticket exchange or refund.
CANCELED OR RESCHEDULED EVENTS
If an event is canceled or rescheduled, the Luhrs Center box office will contact ticket purchasers via letter, e-mail, or phone as soon as the cancellation/postponement is announced. If an event is canceled, ticket purchasers will be refunded the amount of the tickets; however, the Luhrs Center does not refund the handling/mailing or service charges related to the ticket purchase. If an event is rescheduled, you will be contacted by the Luhrs Center box office via letter, e-mail, or phone and provided with information about the various ticket refund/exchange options. The decision to reschedule a canceled event is often up to the artist and promoter and not necessarily the host venue.
Inclement weather is not cause for a refund or exchange unless the performance is actually canceled or postponed. A cancellation or postponement notice will be posted on the event page at luhrscenter.com.
REPLACEMENT OF TICKETS
If your tickets have been lost, damaged, or stolen, please contact the Luhrs Center box office at (717) 477-SHOW (7469) for assistance prior to the performance date.
ACCESSIBILITY
Patrons requiring information concerning the availability of reasonable accommodations or services for Luhrs Center performances should call the box office at (717) 477-SHOW (7469). Wheelchair accessible seating is available online. Some special services require at least two weeks notification to make the appropriate arrangements.

GROUP DISCOUNT
Groups of twenty or more receive a special discount for most performances. For group sales, call the box office at (717) 477-SHOW (7469) during the hours of operation and ask to speak to the group sales representative, or send an e-mail to info@luhrscenter.com, and someone will respond to you promptly.
The Luhrs Center reserves the right to limit or exclude certain shows from group sales. Only organized groups as part of an organization or business will receive a discount.

Gift Cards
Luhrs Center gift cards make a great gift any time of the year and for any occasion. Gift cards can be purchased in a variety of increments, and they do not expire. Call, stop by the box office, or purchase gift cards online.
