Frame House
Frame House combines Japanese tradition with modern design in a serene garden setting, offering a unique dining experience. The entrance showcases traditional wooden architecture, while the dining area boasts large windows with Japanese lattice screens overlooking the garden, connecting indoor and outdoor spaces. Guests dine in private "houses" suspended over water, enjoying intimacy and the calming sound of water beneath them.

The project blends soft and hard elements in a modular design to create adaptive spaces, using materials like birch plywood and fabric to evoke California sunsets. Through reconfiguration, it offers interactive environments that mirror the changing hues of dusk, enhancing the indoor experience with nature-inspired aesthetics.

I&C's design for the Alonzo King Lines Ballet at Z Space theater merges nature with the stage through wooden structures and transformative elements. The stage evolves, lifting in early acts to expand space, while later, floating fabrics adapt to dance, enhancing the naturalistic theme. This concept aims to immerse the audience in a nature-inspired setting.

The design is based on solving the social problem of homelessness and aims to reduce the number of homeless people and provide suitable employment opportunities by constructing accessible, demountable dwellings suitable for homeless people in the best possible location in relation to their surroundings, in order to reduce the pressure that homeless people place on society. The design of the program will be presented through a game where homeless people can register and log into the game through a webpage and choose a site based on real-time data and AI recommendations. They can also build their own houses on the site based on predefined units and earn virtual currency for building houses by completing tasks such as community service, in order to solve the problem of mass homelessness in a socially friendly way.
