This project was a collaboration between second year photography and thirt year graphic design. The photography students needed to make a series of photo's about a person. The graphic design students needed to help them make a publication about their photo's. I worked together with Cleo Goossens who was following a nun, living in a monestary/ Her mother also lives there, at the age of 105 years old. The nun she followed – Sister Angelique – arranges pretty much everything at the monestary, so there for the name: Godmother. We wanted the publication to be soft and serene, and simplistic. So we were inspired by the Bible. The photo's are printed on ivory paper, we use a classic font (Garamond Pro) and the cover is bound with (fake) skai leather in which we punched the title with lead letters.
