Supreme Court’s Judgement Brings Relief To Companies Like VV Minerals
The Supreme Court of India has finalised a 28-month deadline for the central and state governments to settle on applications seeking for renewal of their mining leases or environmental clearances http://vvmineralblog.wordpress.com

The court’s directions are based on suggestions made by the SC-appointed Centrally Empowered Committee (CEC), the Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF) and advocate ADN Rao, who is assisting the green bench dealing with environment related cases. http://vvmineralmining.blogspot.in
The order came on a petition filed by the Federation of Indian Minerals Industry (FIMI), which complained that statutory clearances were pending with either the Centre or states for threefour years and companies like VV Minerals were suffering in the process.
