VV Minerals Chairman Not Under The Scanner Anymore For Illegal Mining Of 96K Crore Heavy mineral mining industry in India is in a growing stage which yields huge benefits to the Indian economy. The largest exporter from the southern part of India, Tamil Nadu is a private company, VV Minerals. There has been a lot of speculation over the business activities of VV Minerals as they were accused of carrying out a scam in which they were illegally exporting heavy minerals. Scams are not a very positive issue for the economy or the country but the fact remains that an accused is not guilty until proved so. Such was the case for VV Minerals who was alleged of something they didn’t get into.

S. Vaikundarajan who is the Chairman of the company was alleged to have carried out such illegal trade on behalf of his company. Tamil Nadu government however, ordered for a probe into the businesses of VV Mineral India as rumors started going about of illegal heavy mineral mining. The investigation was carried out by the Indian Bureau of Mines which works under the Ministry of Mines and it found no evidence that would prove VV Mineral, Vaikundarajan guilty of any kind of illegal heavy mineral mining activity in Tamil Nadu.

At the time of the investigation the mining activities were put to a halt by the Tamil Nadu Government which led to quite a lot of losses for the Company as well as the economy. Beach mining is replenishable and in the absence of any mining activities the minerals like garnet, rutile, ilmenite, are carried away by sea waves and as a result, Sri Lanka which placed further down south experiences benefits at the cost of the Indian Industry. VV Minerals, Vaikundarajan is a very reputed company both in India and Overseas which carries out business by all honest means. That is the reason behind them getting cleared of all the allegations and coming back into business with all due respect.

Following the government norms has always been the main concern at VV Minerals and that is the one and only reason why they have survived for so long in this trade. Even though it is a private company, it is next to impossible to practice illegal activities at such unparalleled levels right under the government’s nose. S. Vaikundarajan got into this heavy mineral mining after acquiring all kinds of statutory clearances and permits that are needed to run the mining business. S. Vaikundarajan is a wise man who always follows his principles and ethics and will never compromise on them no matter what. VV Minerals has always been the best in whatever they do and will continue to be the best in the market for which all the credit goes to S. Vaikundarajan. Surprisingly there was no proof found which would lead CBI to establish the fact that VV Minerals had committed any scam.

The heavy mineral mining business is a great opportunity for India to help it develop in the mining sector. It also provides great aide to the financial system as exports are involved. VV Minerals is doing just the same and that too strictly abiding by the rules and regulations of the government.
