THE STRUCTURAL, MECHANICAL, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS ARE SUPPLEMENTARY TO THE ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS. SHOULD THERE BE ANY DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN THE DRAWINGS AND/OR SPECIFICATIONS, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE DESIGNER IMMEDIATELY FOR CLARIFICATION. THE CONTRACTOR, AT THE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE, SHALL CORRECT WORK INSTALLED IN CONFLICT WITH THESE DRAWINGS. THE DIVISION OF DRAWINGS INTO SEPARATE CATEGORIES (ARCHITECTURAL, STRUCTURAL, ETC.) IS FOR CONVENIENCE ONLY, AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS DIVIDING THE WORK BY TRADE OR SUB-CONTRACT.

AT PROJECT START AND AGAIN AT TURNOVER, CONTRACTOR WILL SUPPLY TO OWNER TWO COPIES OF A CURRENT SUBCONTRACTOR LIST. SUCH A LIST SHALL INCLUDE SUBCONTRACTOR NAME, ADDRESS, WORK PERFORMED, CONTACT NAME, TELEPHONE, FAX AND PAGER NUMBERS.

IT SHALL BE THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE EXACT DETERMINATIONS AS TO THE LOCATION OF ALL EXISTING UTILITIES. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT BEGIN WORK UNTIL THIS DETERMINATION HAS BEEN MADE. CONTRACTOR AGREES TO BE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGE THAT MIGHT BE OCCASIONED BY HIS FAILURE TO EXACTLY LOCATE AND PRESERVE EXISTING UTILITIES.

ENTRANCE AND EXITS

FACILITIES SHALL BE MADE ACCESSIBLE TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES. REVOLVING DOORS SHALL NOT BE USED AS A REQUIRED ENTRANCE FOR PERSONS WITH

DISABILITIES. DURING PERIODS OF PARTIAL OR RESTRICTED USE OF A BUILDING OR FACILITY, THE ENTRANCES USED FOR PRIMARY ACCESS SHALL BE ACCESSIBLE TO AND USABLE BY PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES. EXIT DOORS SHALL BE OPENABLE FROM THE INSIDE WITHOUT THE USE OF A KEY OR ANY SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE OR EFFORT. MANUALLY OPERATED EDGE OR SURFACE-MOUNTED FLUSH BOLTS AND SURFACE BOLTS ARE PROHIBITED. WHEN EXIT DOORS ARE USED IN PAIRS AND APPROVED AUTOMATIC FLUSH BOLTS ARE USED, THE DOOR LEAF HAVING THE AUTOMATIC FLUSH BOLTS SHALL HAVE NO DOORKNOB OR SURFACE-MOUNTED HARDWARE. THE UNLATCHING OF ANY LEAF SHALL NOT REQUIRE MORE THAN ONE OPERATION. LOCKED EXIT DOORS SHALL OPERATE AS ABOVE IN EGRESS DIRECTION.
