Programming personality into an artificially intelligent robotic assistant for the home or office does make a lot of sense because you will be spending much time with this computerized marvel in technology in the future. Obviously, you are going to want a robot or artificially intelligent android to be pleasant and to get along with you, but in order to do this it will be necessary to program the level of interaction and type of personality you prefer. However, other people in your family or at the office may not like the personality you choose and in the beginning these artificially intelligent robotic assistance and androids will be very costly so it will be wise to have adjustable personalities.
