Material: 100% cotton Camilla by Madame Tricote Paris Weight: Fingering / 4 ply (14 wpi) Colors: 5325 red 5527 green Hook: 2,5 mm

Used short-cuts: Chain (CH) Slip stitch (Sl St) Single crochet (SC) Double crochet (DC) Half double crochet (HDC)

You will need quiet small amount of every color.

Other material: beads, buttons (what you like) needle with blunt tip, felt, fiber fill, ribbon, thin embroidery cotton.

4th row: 3 CH as a 1st DC, 1 DC in very first stitch, 2 times 2 DC in one stitch, 1 HDC, 1 SlSt

5th row: crochet SC all around the bootie. Work in arrow direction: 1 CH, 2 SC, 2 SlSt, 3 times 2 SC in one stitch, 11 SC, 2 SC in corner stitch, 3 SC, 2 SC in corner stitch, 7 SC, 1 SlSt, 3 SC, 3 times 2 SC in one stitch, 4 SC, join with SlSt, end work.

Edge of the bootie: Beginning: 9 CH 1st row: first 3 CH as a 1st DC, 6 DC 2nd row: SC all around the shape: 1 CH, 1 SC, 2 SC in one stitch, 4 SC, 2 SC in one stitch, 1 SC, 2 SC in one stitch, 4 SC, 1 SC in one stitch, join with 1 SlSt, end the work.

Paint the bootie’s shape on the felt and cut it. You have prepared felt and crocheted parts of bootie. Embellish the crochet part of bootie following your imagination with beads, buttons – what you like. Sew the felt and crochet parts together. Use the ringing stitch, see picture below, please (picture from www.rucniprace.cz).

Sew both parts with ringing stitch around all bootie. About 3 cm (1,2 inches) before ending, let the free space, fill this space with small amount of fiberfill and than sew the free space as you could see on the pictures below. Don’t forget sew the ribbon for hanging too and you have finished it! J
