It is important that single sided posts not using joining rails are mounted precisely. Use a level on the post installation jigs (page 44) to assist with mounting posts vertically at a distance of 600, 900 or 1200 mm from centre to centre.
Ensure post are plumb. Use adjustable wall mounts or pack the wall if mounting post directly onto it.
Ensure appropriate fastening hardware is used for the type of wall/ceiling/floor that posts are mounted to.
Glides included with posts, feet, heel & junction joiners must be adjusted to sit firmly on the ground.
Use the turn-lock tool (page 44) when assembling & disassembling joining rails, base joining rails & feet. Ensure to turn fully to the locked position.
When assembling the feet to the post, make sure feet are secured in the correct position so the base of the foot is level with the bottom of the post. Use the mallet (page 44) to assist in easing foot into position.
