Introduction For a rather chatty girl, this is going to seem a little odd. I never know where to start with something like this, so in my perfect world, I’d just make the quilts and somebody else could write this part. Favorite quilts. Each of these quilts is a favorite for one reason or another, either because it was a hilarious exercise in trying to get it right or because it was a shared adventure with a friend. I might have loved the fabrics or the color palette, or maybe I just liked the way the quilt turned out. I’d like to remake them one day, not because I think I could make them better but because it would be interesting to see what I would do differently. The one thing I do know is that these quilts have been part of my journey as a quilter, as the owner of a pattern company, and in life. And each is a happy memory. ~ Carrie

About the Author
A rose by any other name is still a rose. So fans of Carrie Nelson may not know her by her given name, but they surely know her by her years-long patterndesigner name, Miss Rosie. Most recently, Carrie has joined the ranks of Moda Fabrics as the guru of social media (perhaps not her official title, but that’s what she’s all about), but she still slips into her Miss Rosie mode from time to time to design yet another clever scrappy pattern. No matter what you call her, you’ll call her patchwork patterns brilliant!
