The Ephrata High School (EHS) Theatre Program returns to the stage in Spring 2023 with Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella.” They hope you’ll join them at one of their four performances in the EHS Hammon Auditorium for this classic fairy tale adapted from the Broadway revival.

Show dates and times are:

Patricia Ann Leidy, 92, Narvon, passed away on Friday, March 3.

She was the wife of the late Benjamin F. Leidy Jr.

She is survived by twin sons: Bruce C. Leidy, husband of Roxanne, Narvon, and Michael L. Leidy, husband of Mardette, Gap; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lois Wettig, wife of Charles, Lancaster.

She was preceded in death by a great-grandchild.

Linda M. Schwanger, 83, Lititz, passed away on Friday, March 3.

She was the wife of the late David M. Schwanger.

She is survived by three sons: Scott D. Schwanger, Lititz; Jeffrey R. Schwanger, Lancaster; and Stephen E., husband of Fayetta E. Schwanger, Ephrata; six grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and a brother, Richard Emerich Jr., Lancaster.

She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas M. Schwanger.

Neil Althouse, 86, Ephrata, passed away on Saturday, March 4.

He is survived by two sisters: Lavonne Althouse, and Joan Althouse.

Paul Mark Gingerich, 88, husband of Arlene, New Holland, passed away on

Saturday, March 4.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons: Roger, husband of Veronica Gingerich, Narvon; Harvey Bland, Port Hope, Michigan; and Ivan Gingerich, Bad Axe, Michigan; two daughters: Wilma, wife of David Bolt, Pendleton, South Carolina, and Janet, wife of John Esh, New Holland; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mabel, wife of Boyd Knicely.

Katie E. Miller, 72, wife of Jacob L. Miller, Bird-inHand, passed away on Saturday, March 4.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons: Amos B., husband of Rebecca Lapp Miller, Birdin-Hand; John B., husband of Emma King Miller, Birdin-Hand; and Samuel B., husband of Barbara Stoltzfus Miller, Bird-in-Hand; four daughters: Anna B., wife of Leroy Fisher, Rebersburg; Barbie B., wife of Aaron King Jr., Lancaster; Naomi B., wife of Elmer King, Points, West Virginia; and Rebecca B., wife of Christ Lapp, Leola; 45 grandchildren; five great­grandchildren; three brothers: Joseph, husband of Susie Blank, Narvon; Christ, husband of Sally Blank, Gap; and David, husband of Susie Blank, Gap; and five sisters: Arie, wife of Elam Stoltzfus, Quarryville; Barbara, wife of Aaron Glick, Coatesville; Linda, wife of Simeon Beiler, Paradise; Rebecca, wife of Elam Beiler, Quarryville; and Emma Beiler, Quarryville.

Douglas W. May, 93, Narvon, passed away on Sunday, March 5.

He was the husband of the late Carol V. (Dollar) May.

He is survived by three sons: Francis May, Fort Myers, Florida; Kenneth May, Akron; and Wendell May, Mohnton; a daughter, Denise May-Witmer, Narvon; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Landis M. Weaver, 87, husband of Arlene G. (Burkholder) Weaver, Ephrata, passed away on Tuesday, March 7.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Jay L., husband of Lois (Horst) Weaver, Reinholds; three daughters: Susan, wife of Larry Martin, Romulus, New York; Nancy, wife of Wilmer Martin, Stevens; and Sylvia, wife of Aaron Hurst, Ephrata; 26 grandchildren; 94 great­grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
