The Ephrata Public Library, located at 550 South Reading Road, Ephrata, has announced their programs for May. Programs are open to the public and free of charge. Registration is required for programs and can be made by visiting the events calendar on the Library’s website (www. ephratapubliclibrary.org), by calling the Library at 717738­9291 or stopping into the library during normal business hours.

• Tuesdays, May 23 & 30, 10:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. –Toddler Time. Toddlers and their caregivers are invited to this 30­minute story time that includes songs, short stories and learning­enriched art activities. Ages 2­4.

• Tuesdays, May 23 & 30, 12:30 p.m.—Mahjong Club. Matching tiles has never been this much fun! Learn and play American Mahjong right here at the library. All skill levels welcome. Ages 18+.

• Tuesdays, May 23, & 30, 3:30 p.m. ­ Teen Gamers Club. Join them for some relaxation and video games on their Nintendo Switch! Feel free to bring any multiplayer (4 or more players) games you wish to share with the group. Ages 13­18.

• Tuesday, May 23, 4:30 p.m. ­ Cross Stitch for Tweens. Come learn to cross stitch! This won’t be your grandma’s cross stitching; they’ll be creating fun and modern projects. Simple hand sewing skills preferred. Must attend both sessions. Ages 10­12.

• Tuesday, May 23, 4:30 p.m. ­ Garden Club for Tweens. If you have a green thumb, want to learn more about gardening, enjoy being outdoors and having fun or just like getting your hands dirty, join their Garden Club! They will work together to decide what to plant in the garden, help prepare and weed the garden and harvest plants when they are ready. Ages 10­12.

• Tuesday, May 23, 6:00 p.m. ­ True Crime Tuesday. Can’t get enough true crime podcasts and documentaries? Join them for a lively discussion about their favorite crime podcasts and series and get recommendations for what to listen to and watch next. This month they’ll be discussing “Killer

Sally.” Interviews with friends, family and Sally McNeil herself chart a bodybuilding couple’s rocky marriage — and it’s shocking end in a Valentine’s Day murder. Ages 18+.

• Wednesday, May 24, 10:00 a.m. ­ Lapsit Story Time. Infants, young toddlers and their caregivers sing songs, recite fun rhymes and read together. Ages 0­24 months.

• Wednesday, May 24, 1:00 p.m. ­ Craft Club for Adults. Sewing, scrapbooking, knitting and so much more! Bring your current crafting project and join them at the library for an afternoon of creating and socializing. Ages 18+.

• Thursday, May 25, 4:30 p.m. – Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead for Tweens. Join them for a fun afternoon of science, technology, engineering, arts and math using cool tech equipment and robots supplied by the library! Ages 10­12.

• Thursday, May 25, 6:00 p.m. ­ How to be a ClutterFree Family: Organization for Parents & Kids. The average American home has 300,000 items within its walls. In most homes one family member is responsible for managing the majority of these items. Let’s change that! Get the entire family involved in keeping your home organized. Parents and children (ages 4­10) are invited to join professional organizer and educator Mara Pritchard in games and hands­on activities designed to get families talking about their homes. Topics covered include toys, paper, laundry, and donating. Join them for a fun, enlightening evening.

• Thursday, May 25, 1:00 p.m. ­ Movin’ & Groovin’. Have ants in your pants? No worries! Come to the Library for this interactive program with music, motion, sound, games and storytelling! Children will release some pent­up energy while learning to take turns, follow directions and be respectful to one another. Plus, they will discuss healthy habits during each session! Ages 3­7.

• Thursday, May 25, 3:30 p.m. ­ Dungeons & Dragons for Teens: Group B. Dungeons and & Dragons is a game of imagination, fun, chaos and story. Play as a character you create and let the Dungeon Master take you on a journey to a mystical land. Cast spells, talk to and befriend NPCs. Everything is possible as long as you can roll the dice. Please do not register for both Group A and Group B as space is limited and they want everyone to have a chance to play. Ages 13 for Memorial Day.
