our artists ... we wanted to take a moment to thank our incredible artists because they make Seedlings exactly what it is! You’ve seen our faces here for the past 5 years and it’s about time you saw the lovely ladies who actually create the amazing artwork that makes Seedlings so special! Help us celebrate them!

Artist + designer who has a passion for capturing the boundless beauty of nature through her work. From creatures, to landscapes, to endless floral combinations, she uses her sensitivity of color to explore organic themes; reflecting the inherit freedom of nature in her loose + whimsical hand. As much as she loves working on canvas, she also loves creating illustrative work for surface design applications.

Emily Isabella is a designer and illustrator living in the Hudson Valley region of New York. Best known for her whimsical way of looking at the world, often through the lens of travel or everyday moments at home. Her designs have been applied to products such as clothing, bedding, dishes, furniture, toys, fabric, wallpaper, and books.

With roots that trace back to a long line of creative women, Pittsburgh-born Monica Dorazewski, finds inspiration in nature, travel, family, and flea markets. While a painting student at SCAD, she organically turned to graphic design and illustration as a means of artistic expression, and has since expanded her passions to include collage, sewing, and repeat pattern making.

Gigi Rosado is a polish illustrator and designer who resides in Poland and Scotland. She is a graduate of Glasgow School of Art. Her art is often inspired by the 60’s and 70’s movements. She is also fascinated by primitivism and folklore. She believes that art is a power which adds happiness to people’s lives.

Vikki is an illustrator based in Brooklyn, NY. She spent much of her childhood in New Hampshire where she first developed her love of drawing. Using mostly watercolor, ink, and gouache she has created art for books, magazines, greeting cards, clothing, wallpaper, board games, and more.

Rosie Harbottle is an artist + illustrator creating on the edge of Dartmoor, UK. Her art has led her to explore different parts of the world including Morocco, where a lot of her inspiration stems from a deep appreciation for the area which she is now based, living closely with the natural world + an upbringing rooted in folk music. Rosie uses a combination of rich colors, mark making and brush strokes to create joyful pieces that explore how it feels to surround yourself with nature and the deep happiness that can bring.

Jo Faulkner is an artist + designer from London who works in watercolor + Gouache and loves to paint flowers, nature + weird + wonderful creatures. Jo is constantly trying to paint in a smart way, but finds that anything she paints seems to always end up a little bit wobbly + wonky... She finds most of her inspiration from travel and gains ideas from being in nature + gardening and visiting museums + galleries. When not designing fun card ideas with Seedlings, Jo designs + sells printed fabric under the brand - Lowri.

Emily Kopcik is an artist and textile designer living in NYC. She recently founded the lifestyle blog, ‘Ula Bloom, a site that provides inspiration for creative and intentional living, with a focus on sustainability. Emily’s love for fashion and design seeps into her bold, expressive illustrations.

Angela enjoys illustrating in a variety of styles. She draws her inspiration from everyday life, travel, plants, and sometimes her cats. When not illustrating, you can find Angela gardening, biking, and yes, traveling.

Mouni is a drawing person born and based in Nottingham, England. Her name is Algerian and her humour is British, but she grew up mostly in Frankfurt, Germany, and graduated with a degree in Communications Design from the Hochschule Darmstadt in 2014. She is fairly nice, averagely special, and can write very polite emails. She loves humans, especially drawing them.

Anne is a classic late bloomer who ignored early signs pointing to a career in commercial art and instead studied fine art. She’s now happily working as an illustrator in a variety of markets including editorial, home decor, children’s books, stationery & puzzles, from her studio in the San Francisco Bay Area. Aside from work, she loves to poke around in a good vintage store.

plantable seed paper seedlings — Eco-friendly Packaging

You’re gonna dig our PLANTABLE seed paper ENVELOPES and packaging, embedded with a mixture of non-invasive wildflower seeds that can be easily planted with just a few quick steps.

Plantable seed paper is a biodegradable eco-paper that is made with post-consumer materials (no trees harmed for this paper!) and embedded with seeds. When the paper is planted in a pot of soil, the seeds grow and the paper composts away. All that is left behind is flowers. Throughout our line, we have incorporated seed paper in our packaging wherever possible.

BUT HOW DOES IT WORK? LET US EXPLAIN.

STEP 1

Remove sections with glue and soak paper in water overnight.

STEP 2

Fill planter with ²/ ³ soil and place seed paper inside. Add light layer of soil on top.

STEP 3

Place planter in a sunny spot. Water well for at least 4-6 weeks.

STEP 4

Once you see sprouts, transplant to an outdoor area.

MINIMUM ORDER :

First order minimum is $150. Minimum Re-order is $100.

TERMS:

• First orders are C.O.D. or Credit Card.

• Seedlings accepts the following credit cards: Visa, MC, American Express, and Discover.

• Net 30 Terms available upon satisfactory credit check of references on re-orders only. (1½% Finance Charge on overdue balance will be accrued.)

• A $25 ser vice charge will be added to any returned checks or stop payment checks.

• A 10% ser vice charge will be payable on unaccepted or undeliverable orders.

• Invoices will be sent digitally via e-mail or fax unless otherwise requested. Please provide current e-mail and/ or fax number with orders.

SHIPPING:

• All orders will be shipped “Best Way” from Clinton, MA unless otherwise requested.

• Orders are normally shipped within 2-4 weeks. The cost of shipping will be added to your invoice.

• An additional UPS or FedEx C.O.D. charge will be added to ALL C.O.D. orders.

SHORTAGES/DAMAGE CLAIMS:

Goods damaged during shipment must be reported to Seedlings AND to the Carrier within five business days to initiate a claim. Save all packing materials for inspection by the claim adjuster. We will send you a return authorization approval good for thirty days. We must receive the damaged goods in original packing with a copy of the invoice in order to replace the shipment. Any shortages must be reported to Seedlings within 7 business days of receipt of order.

BACK ORDERS:

• We will ship out of stock items as soon as possible unless otherwise noted on invoice. Normal shipping charges will apply to back orders.

• Any back order under $30.00 will be canceled.
