We heard you...you want cello...we get it, and we’re listening. We’ve always wanted to bring you high end good quality cards—our whole “have your paper and plant it too!” So none of that is changing but our cello is. Single use plastic just doesn’t make sense with our ethos and so because of that we are going compostable! So don’t worry, we will still cello—if you want us to—it just will be a more eco-friendly vessel to keep our cards safe in your space! We know it’s something minor but knowing that as a world we produce about 150 million tons of plastic each year we figured we didn’t want to be a part of that statistic! So instead we’re shifting and doing one minor thing to make Seedlings just a tiny bit more eco friendly for us, for you, and for the goodness of our little planet we call home. Look for the full transition from what we currently do, to what will be, “what we used to do” during 2024. Hey there! It feels like it’s been a lifetime since I’ve written a little note to you all! MY best friends got married, Ruby and I walked down the aisle together, I moved to Bali, and well, Seedlings is still flourishing because of you. We are so grateful that you love our little sprout...because we’d be nothing without you (honestly is this a toxic relationship, lol joking). But for real I am so so grateful for all of you. We started Seedlings with a mission to connect people, to share in our humanness on this planet and to do so while being mindful of our environmental impacts on our mama earth.

we believe you should be able to have your paper and plant it too! Yo u ’ r e g o n n a d i g o u r P L A N TA B L E s e e d p a p e r E N V E LO P E S and packaging, embedded with a mixture of non-invasive wildflower seeds that can be easily planted with just a few quick steps. Plantable seed paper is a biodegradable eco-paper that is made with post-consumer materials (no trees harmed for this paper!) and embedded with seeds. When the paper is planted i n a p o t o f s o i l , t h e s e e d s g r o w a n d t h e p a p e r c o m p o s t s a w a y. All that is left behind is flowers.
