Annie Claire We live in a world where so much is recorded. Children have a digital identity before they are ever born (sonogram pictures are forever). I find myself recording things on my phone so I don’t forget funny sayings, sweet performances or what’s on my to-do list. For this spring lookbook, we took a step back in time to appreciate a media that was once the only way to listen to music - records! We visited the hopping Mid City neighborhood in Baton Rouge and strolled right on into Pop Shop Records. Full of color and soul, this photoshoot location was one for the record books. Our new spring arrivals looked stunning amongst the bold colors, vintage artifacts and well-loved records.

Chelsey Off the record, I wish we owned a record player. Our time at Pop Shop Records in Baton Rouge was so much fun, but I just kept wondering how I would enjoy the cool tunes without a way to play them. Good thing I’ll at least be dressed for the occasion. Spring is packed with event after event and I am loving the new clothes, shoes and accessories that keep arriving.
