BIOGRAPHY My name is Eduardo Mazzeo, a professional architect , 48 years old and live in Uruguay. I´m a restless person who enjoys capturing the images of everyday life, letting the sensitivity flow to find the compositions that show up when the light is appropriate. I´m very passionate about exploring and creating compositions as a means of expression. These images will accomplish their goal as long as they trigger a stimulus, reflection or thought in the observer. The images arise before my eyes; I do not go out in search of any specific scene so I use the basic equipment that I carry around every day.

BESIDE THE WATER The leitmotif of this series is the presence of water in nature. These natural scenarios allow me to capture that special magic from watercourses, which reveals in a different way depending on the time, light impact and weather, thus showing its calm or fury, its reflections and glow, triggering unique moments. In this occasion, the choice of black and white aims at focusing the attention on the concept, frame and atmosphere. I do not deny the multi-chromatic work, but the proposal herein is that no color stands out or distracts the eye of the observer.

BIOGRAPHY I did this work on the suggestion. My goal was to inspire me photographic style nude, while trying to renew. I first decided to focus on off-field taking part, not as the end of the picture, but as the beginning of the spectator’s imagination. Then, the more I walked this path, the more I had the urge to go further and create unreal body, chimeras bringing us to a state of conscious animal, contradictory and tortured. While on a work being polysemic, everyone sees what he wants. However, my intention is not to cultivate individual fantasies, but a reflection on the relationship between body and mind. The strength of my work is I think in its suggestive appearance. Indeed, by combining two images taken at two different times and without artifice, without editing, the viewer unconsciously accepts it and sees my body perception.

PHOTOGRAPHIC CHRONICLES LARRY WOODMANN I TA LY “ Io b a llo d a s ola ”

Portfolio:

BIOGRAPHY Larry Woodmann, “stage name” of an Italian photographer, born in Florence in 1964 and moved to Milan in 1997 where he still lives and works as a top manager for a telecommunication company. He cultivates photography as a hobby during his many travels and by a lucky chance encounter with a famous model, from which comes the first “set”, he decides to dedicate to this art expression with a more depth and focused approach. His photography is born from instinct and an innate aesthetic sense, not according to any technique nor any preconceived feeling, but only to that a model inspires him and then click to his set. “My ideal model is that one who, when I’m finally just in front of the pc screen working the shot, makes me fall in love with that woman forgetting her true identity.” Beauty, Glamour, Street Fashion, Erotic, Reportage are for his photography classifications with little importance, every shot communicates feelings that may fall under each of these categories. We could then define him as a “aesthetic” photographer, which seeks in every shot balance, beauty, harmony of the composition. Emotions are left to the personal sphere of the beholder his pictures, who is asked by the author in one word: “Beautiful!”

I O B AL L O D A SO L A In this set “Io ballo da sola”, inspired by the homonymous 1996 movie by Bernardo Bertolucci (original title: “Stealing Beauty”), there are all the issues dear to the photographer Larry Woodmann. The beauty and harmony and delicacy, the house and the countryside as a rural retreat of the origins and at the same time escape of the imagination, in this case towards the discovery of sexuality and eroticism of a young woman, beautifully interpreted by the model Nicole Andrea. Larry reinterprets the film in his own way, with the black and white of remembrance that makes all surrounded by an aura of myth and

mysticism, as something already experienced and familiar to any observer. Unlike all his other previous sets, introduces this time the novelty of mixing color images to other black and white in alternating images consistent with the message content. From the wistful remembrance to eroticism in times solar at times intimate and refined. A further step of an artist “no artist” (those who follow Woodmann knows that his real job in life is far from the photograph) that never ceases to amaze us for its quality of construction but also for his desire to explore the emotions of the human soul.
