Curb - Life of Wheelchair: “Curb - Life of Wheelchair” documents everyday life in the wheelchair where the possibilities of perception and interpretation through his works in their individual walks dedicated to the look of the wheelchair spaces and translate them into images where the period of over a year we capture the perceptions and the way whether the human aspects or aspects more and plastics. This diversity of perceptions is evident in the proposals that have images in your photo technical unit is a light that serves as a translation. What is the Chair of urbanity or what we mean by urban? As wheelchair users relate to their surroundings? What each sees what is around you? Sounds, colors, proportions, streets, alleys, buildings, constructions, confusion, harmony, differences, similarities, collective, individual, unique, diverse crowd, loneliness, full, empty...Life of Wheelchair!

Meio Fio-Vida de Cadeirante: “MEIO FIO - Vida de Cadeirante” é um documental do dia a dia na vida de cadeirantes onde as possibilidades de percepção e interpretação através de seus trabalhos que em suas caminhadas indíviduais dedica-se a olhar os espaços dos cadeirantes e traduzi-los em imagens onde no período de mais de um ano captamos as percepções e sua maneira quer seja os aspectos humanos ou seus aspectos mais e plásticos. Esta diversidade de percepções evidencia-se nas imagens propostas que tem na fotografia sua unidade técnica, É a luz que lhes serve de tradução. O que consiste nos cadeirantes de urbanidade ou o que entendemos por urbano? Como os cadeirantes se relacionam com o que os cerca? O que cada um percebe daquilo que está ao seu redor? Sons, cores, proporções, ruas, becos, construções, edificações, confusão, harmonia, diferenças, semelhanças, coletivo, individual, único, diverso, multidão, solidão, cheio, vazio,…Vida de Cadeirante!

Sobre Jorge Aguiar:

Jorge Aguiar was born in Porto Alegre/RS and he’s been a photojournalist for the past 38 years. He’s developing “Luz Reveladora Photo da Lata” project for the past 17 years in which he adminsters pinhole photography workshops for young and adults who live in areas of greatest social vulnerability.

Jorge Aguiar, é natural de Porto Alegre/ RS, e tem 38 anos de Fotojornalismo. Desenvolve há 17 anos o projeto Luz Reveladora Photo da Lata, administrando oficinas de fotografia pinhole destinadas a jovens e adultos em áreas de maior vulnerabilidade social.

Francesco Gola is an Italian guy that grow up in a small town called Stradella, in the north of Italy. After taking is master degree in Electrical Engineering, his job brought him far from home. To spend his free time, he bought a camera and started to use it. He noticed that the time spent on photography could turn him in a totally different mood, despite a really bad day. When he’s out with his camera he’s able to think to nothing: job, love, life, troubles… everything disappear. So he got used to spent his free time in this parallel world, and he can’t stop still now. Francesco is landscape photographer, and with his camera he love to take pictures of the wonders of Nature, and to the attempt to humankind to find a spot in it. Silence and Solitude are two constant characters in his picture, as charming as frightful.

Francesco Gola é um jovem italiano que cresceu numa pequena vila chamada Stradella, no norte de Itália. Após completar o mestrado em Engenharia Eletrónica, o seu emprego fê-lo viver longe de casa. Para ocupar os tempos livros comprou uma máquina e começou a utilizá-la. Rápido reparou que o tempo livre dedicado à fotografia poderia alterar o seu estado de espírito, mesmo nos dias maus. Quando está com a sua máquina consegue deixar de pensar no emprego, no amor, nos problemas...tudo desaparece. Habituou-se a passar o tempo livre neste mundo paralelo e agora não consegue parar quieto. Francisco é fotógrafo paisagístico e adora captar com a sua câmara as maravilhas da Natureza e as tentativas do ser humano de encontrar um espaço nela. Silêncio e solidão são os dois traços constantes nas suas fotografias, tão charmoso quanto assustador.
