A self taught artist, I primarily work with oils and hardboard substrate, that I layer, excavate, gouge, and scrape back to reveal history. I love the gestural language of mark making and experimentation with textural elements such as sand, coffee and dirt. Working abstractly and intuitively, I enjoy the mystery of not knowing what path each piece will take and letting it evolve on its own. My work has been in various galleries, juried shows, exhibitions and seen in local businesses. North Carolina United States of America
