Arm Yourself Against Infection

Whether it be Covid or one of the other garden

variety diseases that no one talks about anymore, your own immunity is always your best defense. And the path to building that immunity is through proper nutritional supplementation. While eating healthy is laudable, our food supply no longer provides sufficient levels of nutrients to maintain

good health and immunity.

Vitamin C has long been known for building immunity, take at least 3,000-6,000 milligrams daily when well. If any symptom of infection pops up, increase to 1,000 mg per hour while awake, excess will be excreted without harmful side effects. Zinc is a powerful player in immunity as well. It is known to stop the replication of viruses (hint, hint). Daily recommendations vary with 80 mg being the current trend, we lean toward 50 when well, 100 at onset of symptoms. Next up is Vitamin D, ideally combined with Vitamins A and K in the proper ratio. A topquality multivitamin should provide trace minerals and vitamins. Because 70% of immunity begins in the gut, daily probiotic support is essential. Omega 3s (EPA/ DHA) maintain cardiovascular health and brain function.

Additionally, boosting nitric oxide production reduces oxidative stress and supports the cardiovascular system. The herb echinacea is a powerful immune booster available in many forms. Quercetin improves the bioavailability of zinc, similar in action to hydroxychloroquin. NAC (n-acetyl cysteine) protects mucous tissues of the nasal and oral passages and acts as an antioxidant and expectorant.
