Hello, We hope this Fall season finds you and your family well and that you are as excited as we are about what the rest of 2016 holds and are looking forward to 2017. We have had some wonderful additions to Winegardner Show Cattle beginning with a new grandson, McCoy Dean Klingaman born to Hannah and Kurtis in July and a new son-in-law Shane Werk . Our daughter Ashlie and him were married in August. With each year comes change and life happens. We are so thankful that Tyler and Natalie’s son three year old Beckett is on the mend after suffering a femur fracture in August. We can’t forget our precious Ryker who will be two in December. We are thankful to the good Lord for protecting us and for seeing over our family. With family growth comes hope for a bright future. It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that we present to you our 2016 offering of heifer calves. What a fantastic year it has been for us as we come off a very successful show season from people that purchased cattle in our 2015 sale. We were able to place calves in some wonderful homes and as a result many reached the backdrop. We have a superb set of open heifer calves for you to view in the

upcoming pages of this sale catalog and videos will be available for viewing on our website and links to videos from our Facebook page. Whether you are looking for a show heifer prospect or future cow with the ability to flush and promote in your herd we think you will find what you are looking for here. We are offering a combination of Chi, Maine, Simmy, Angus and Shorthorn plus calves. Our team is here to back you with your purchase. We are here to help as little or as much as you need. Feel free to give Tyler, Kurtis or Brad a call anytime with questions. Cattle are on display at the farm and we would love for you and your family to stop in and see the cattle in person. Thanks for your support in the past and we are looking forward to seeing you for number 20 on November 5th in Lima at the fairgrounds! Sincerely,

Brad & Melanie Winegardner

Dear Friends, Fall is in the air and with it comes the excitement of a new calf crop. We just finished up picturing the cattle for this year’s 21st Harvest of Excellence Sale and boy are we excited. What a fantastic past year we have had on every level. From county to state, Junior Nationals and the major shows we have had a very successful show season with the cattle from our 2016 sale. We value our repeat customers and families and we are looking forward to having new families jump on board with our program. There is nothing more exciting than seeing these heifers go to great homes. We are once again very blessed to have worked with some of the best in placing our embryos from our elite group of donor cows. Without these folks our program would not be successful. With great anticipation we present to you our 2017 offering. As you thumb through the pages of this catalog we hope you get just as excited about this set of females as we are. By the time this catalog reaches you, these girls will have matured and gotten even better. We have teamed up with Showbloom and are very happy with the results of the BGY advantage as well as continuing to use the Sunglo products. We would be happy to assist you with feeding and talk to you about how these products are working for us. The reps from

the feeds that we use will be available sale day and would love to help you out in any way also. We invite you to stop by the farm to see the calf crop. While we can show you pictures and talk about how fantastic these heifers are, nothing compares to seeing them in person. We would welcome your visit and the opportunity to find out what your goals are and where you want to go with your program. We have several breeds to offer as in the past and always a surprise or two. We look forward to seeing you on sale day and will be serving lunch as always starting at 11:00 am. In the meantime, may God richly bless you and your family and give you safe travels to the Allen County Fairgrounds on Saturday November 4th. See you then! Sincerely,

Winegardner Family

So every year we try to make a different cow family the Lot 1. This year it was a well deserved decision to award it to this big time MaineTainer. This female is so right for the times while having the extra gear that we love to make donor cows. These Lucy descendants are cutting a huge swath in the ring and are even more impressive in production.

This has been one of our very favorites since birth. It’s amazing how much extra power this female has and can still move with the best of them. We feel this heifer has the ability to win right away with plenty of gas to compete at a high level nationally.

These two unique creatures are some of our favorite breeding pieces in the sale. To show what they can do check out Lot 19. They are full sisters to her mother, which is her first calf. These low Simmy/Chi females can be ultra competitive in the ring but where their true value lies is in the donor pen.
