Winter 2015-2016 | standalonefeed.com
STANDALONE IS A LIQUID TOP-DRESS FEED SUPPLEMENT INTENDED TO ADDRESS ALL AREAS OF DEVELOPMENT. The majority of supplements on the market are meant to enhance just one area while StandAlone is the only one with the purpose of doing it all. We do this in order to save you money by being the only product you need.
Muscle and Fat
What is a better source of energy: sugar or fat? Through many years of experience, we believe the truth lies somewhere in-between. Therefore, StandAlone supplements feature a unique blend of sugars and fat from vegetable oil. This gives multiple sources of energy for improved cover. StandAlone also contains multiple sources of protein which promotes microbial growth and improves digestion.
The yeast products we include have been developed and tested around the world to ensure we only use the highest quality and most effective ingredients. These ingredients may bind up harmful bacteria, ensuring a healthy digestive environment to keep animals on feed and converting feed to muscle and fat.
The combination of 100% organic trace minerals and

help reduce stress, increase immune response, fertility, and overall development. This yeast product can only be found in StandAlone.

With today's superior genetics, the importance of nutritional requirements have grown exponentially.
While other supplements may include some of the same ingredients, the levels we use are specifically calculated for your animal to reach their genetic potential.
What’s in a name? Everything.
We believe in StandAlone and recommend it to all of our customers. StandAlone is also an important part of our feed program for my kid’s cattle. Leading into the fall and major show season StandAlone keeps the cattle fresh and bloomy no matter how many miles they’ve traveled. We have fed and recommended StandAlone High Fat for a few years now. We can consistently see the difference that StandAlone High Fat product makes after three-weeks, it gives that extra finish we are all looking for. StandAlone High Fat product is also a great substitute for corn while finishing them the final two-to-three months before the show. It will give that extra finish that corn alone will not.
Success: From the Creep Feeder to the Backdrop
At J and J livestock we have found the most beneficial way of feeding stand alone is to start them out lightly. They are started out at approximately half of an ounce per day mixed on roughly two pounds of feed. The feed rations are pre-mixed the day before to let the StandAlone supplement soak naturally into the feed. As the goats get adapted to the taste we start to increase amount of StandAlone used by about a half of an ounce per week until the recommended two ounce ration is reached. StandAlone is also a good supplement to use when holding goats at their prime weight. We primarily take out base feed and increase the ounces of StandAlone to give them the right nutrients to maintain muscle shape and energy.
StandAlone, it’s the perfect name, the product stands by itself.
We have found StandAlone is the best supplement for our program because it covers a large array of beneficial assets such as fat, hide and hair, vitamins and minerals as well as appetite. The key ingredients for the fat supplements helps them maintain freshness and their muscle shape. We've noticed that our wethers grow hair faster in between shows, so they shear off in a uniform fashion looking crisp and fresh. With the hair supplement we've noticed our does have a tremendous amount of hair growth that keeps them looking show ready. We think the vitamins and minerals in StandAlone keep the goats healthy and their appetites up from the creep feeder to the backdrop.
Brian Martin Show Cattle is family owned by he and his wife, Sherri. They have two children, Stock and Saige who are very active showing quality cattle at the highest level. Martin has bred, sold and raised numerous steers and heifers that have gone to win major shows across the Nation.
J and J Livestock is owned by Justin and Jennifer Burns along with their kids Blake and Kylee. They are located in Galt, California and raise boer goats. J and J genetics have won all over the country. They have won multiple shows a year on the west coast, to national shows such as American Royal and NAILE.
We breed and raise really good show cattle and StandAlone has made a substantial difference, giving that extra edge that it takes to win. StandAlone is simple to feed. It comes in 2.5 and 5 gallon jugs; you feed 12 ounces per head per day added into their daily feed, the cattle love it. Some supplements the cattle turn their nose up, but StandAlone is palatable to the cattle and is easy to feed.

As a feeder the hardest task is keeping animals on feed. StandAlone is my go-to product when preparing sheep and goats for shows. Not only does it help to increase appetites, their skin and hair look fresh, I've found out that they don't stress as much when hauling to the shows. It was quoted after the champion goat was selected at Tulsa State Fair, that he "stood alone" compared to the competition in his class. I fully believe that StandAlone allowed his full genetic potential to be brought to the forefront. I will never feed another show animal without using StandAlone again. —Morgan Hallock

Within a week of feeding StandAlone the hair looked healthier, with more shine and bloom, overall just higher quality. During the summer it helps keep cattle on feed. No matter how often we change our rations it keeps them eating consistently and drives their appetite. We even feed it to some of our sale calves and you can see a difference in the stress level and overall animal health as they —Jeremy Clark, Clark Show Cattle transition to their new home.

I have found here at Young Livestock, that shortly after starting StandAlone in our feeding program, it's easier and faster to put that show-ring bloom on our show pigs. It gives the extra fat cover over the fore rib plus the added value of skin and hair looking fresh on a daily basis.
