POSTER DESIGN FOR CLUSTERS For our Craft Clusters, we had gone to Mysore, which is rich in its culture and art. The first poster shows an Inlay Artist cutting the design on wood. The poster has been designed for a hypothetical event to meet

the artisans involved in Inlay art. The second poster is a tourist advertisement of Mysore city and shows the still of the very famous Chamundi Temple, for which you’ve to take over 1500 stairs.

AMBIGRAM OF MY NAME An ambigram is a word, art form or other symbolic representation whose elements retain meaning when viewed or interpreted from a different direction or perspective. In this project I’ve made an ambigram of my name.

KHADI PROJECT This project was a collaboration between Karantaka Khadi and Village Industry Board with National Institute of Fashion Technology. The idea behind this project was to uplift the demand of Khadi in the market. Khadi was considered as a poor man’s cloth but the govt wanted to change the ideology of common people. Khadi is not only the remembrance of our freedom struggle but also the struggle which craftsmen face today because of low demand of Khadi in the market. Khadi Rebranding was a critical step taken by Karnataka Govt to fill the niche gap and to create the demand through visuals.

CONCEPT OF DESIGNED LOGO The logo has been inspired from Kasutiembroidery which is traditional form of embroidery practiced in the state of Karnataka. “K” in the logo has been made keeping kasuti embroidery in mind but it is been modified to make it look likea string. And the other half of the letter “K” is depicting the collection of strings. Middle letters of the logo have left untouched using CODE PRO typeface (no tracking in between the letters) to maintain the balance whereas “I” has the same appearance as “K” which collection of threads. The typeface used for the text below the logo is Myriad Pro.

excelsior SELF INITIATED PROJECT

Excelsior is a self delibrated inspiring interactive book which helps us to change our perception towards life. It talks about the theories of obtaining Exelsior in life. The concept of this project can be understood from this poem written below. Because you won’t value bliss, if you haven’t faced grief. You can only learn flying, after falling a hundred times. You can only fly higher, if you have fallen deeper, You can only understand what is trust, when you have been cheated. You’ll only understand the importance of words, when a situation makes you mum. You won’t value the rain, unless you’ve lived years in a drought.

packaging design TAJ MAHAL TEA

Taj Mahal Tea is India’s first premium brand tea, it emerged onto the market with a promise never made before fostering excellence to savour the best. The blue packaging of Taj Mahal Tea is the brand identity hence I wanted to change that ideology and use royal feel of maroon colour. The packaging design is inspired from the Mughal royalties and the motifs have been taken from Humayus Tomb. The pattern is then tessellated all over the package. The previous packaging of Taj Mahal Tea has glossy packaging with bery minimal graphics. I have added more graphics in this proposed packaging with mat lamination instead of glossy effect.

DRIZZLE ACCESSORIES

Jewelry box for a hypothetical brand name Drizzle Accessories for ethnic jewellery pieces. The brand is a premium jewellery brand hence, I have used fabric instead of paper to make the consumer feel exclusive. Earthiness of the brand has been depicted using rich red colour but has been balanced with the subtleness of beige.

Steadtler Colour Pencils Steadtler Colour Pencils

Staedtler is a German fine writing instrument company and a manufacturer and supplier of writing, artist, and engineering drawing instruments. It is the most trusted stationary brand. Staedtlers current packaging is too broad to carry and its different to pick a colour when you open the complete box. So to make it more handy, i reduced the width of the case and made different layers to make it moreaccessible. Colour Patch work is used to make packaging more attractive andthe window helps to see what’s inside. The designed packing will interest the younger generation because of the colours used and quirky illustration.

The colour palette is as follows: Brown paper : Pencil Holder, White pattern : Cover (colorful covering)

FASHION STYLING

FUTURISTIC Futuristic Space Inspired Photoshoot

The concept of this shoot was to show futuristic technology. We played with lighting and various tones. The styling of this shoot was geometric silhouette. We painted our model gold to give the futuristic and alienatic effect. Being an indoor shoot, we get to experiment a lot with lights and sparkle which were the key elements depicting space.

He liked the peacefulness. His time with himself. Sometimes you have to be your own companion not because no one else is around but because youlike being with yourself and doing things you love, without getting interrupted by the outside world. INDOOR SHOOT 1/2

‘HER SIDE’a man OFin thought HIS COLOUR PALETTE Do pastels belong only to ladies? Breaking this stereotype, the colour palette will consist of pastel shades of purple, blue and pink, along with white and green, popped at places.

CONCEPT KEYWORDS Minimal Feminine Structured Thoughts Clean Pastel Light

CONCEPT NOTE Lost amidst the thoughts that conquered, it eventually began to reveal a little more. It is funny to think how he loved to observe the play of fishes, the smell of the pages that contained the string of words which softened his mind. He realised how his thoughts perfectly synced with the soft shades of pastel. Yes, he loved it, he enjoyed his feminine tastes. All together in a different world, his thoughts were strung like a necklace, that seemed to create an aura of elegance and silence.

DRAUPADI Indian Mythology Inspired Photoshoot

Women are fighting for their safety since Kali Yug. Even the fire born princess of King Draupada couldn’t escape from the harsh reality. Draupadi had five distinguish and most powerful men as her husband but none of them stood for her when she needed them the most. And most importantly, they were the one who put her in this situation in the first place. Through this shoot, we tired to show the flood of emotions she went through during her “Cheer Haran”

Her eyes tell stories which her lips will never say, She has a power of taking you to some other place. She tries to help others even when she fights her own battle, She does her best, all these little things to make this place better. She is beautiful in her own distinctive way, But her beauty isn’t her skin or the clothes she display. Her beauty lies in her imaginative and wide thoughts, She’s not an ordinary girl, she’s life, she’s nature above all. Her anger, wild as a hurricane. Her love, brighter than the sun and heavier than the rain. Her smile. So beautiful. Looks like a rainbow in the sky. And when she cries, a tsunami starts to raise turning into a wild.

Her strength, her pride. Everything turned into crumbling. Those who were always been with her, Left her alone to suffer. She was lost, she was hopeless, But she kept fighting for her respect. She was fire, she was wind; She just needed to find him. Her eyes were searching, her heart was racing, She didn’t lose hope and kept trying. Then came a light, light so bright, Striking straight from a height. She realised that her prayer had been answered, she looked up with her mouth ajar, She knew it was start of a great war.
