Institute In Himalyas Bir,Himachal Pradesh

The project focused on understanding the topography of Himalayan foothills and designing an institute, keeping in mind its surroundings and traditional dwellings the main idea of the design was to frame views of the valley and blur the line between the indoors and outdoors .locally available materials were adopted to blend the built with its surrounding.

Rural Community Centre shilaj,Gujarat

The project focused on understanding how culture and community enhance the architecture of a particular place. keeping in mind daily activities of people and spaces they occupy. The idea for the design was to develop similar spaces in the community centre as well as connecting them to the surrounding lake and providing various scales of open spaces. Daily activities of people happen in the immediate surrounding of the house and thus the idea of articulating those buffer spaces in the community centre is reflected.

Adaptive Reuse Of ATMA Campus Ahmedabad,Gujarat

The project focused on developing an intervention and reusing the campus designed by Le Corbusier in a way that it becomes an example for other heritage buildings in Ahmedabad. The main idea of this intervention was to revive the life of the abandoned building and to open it for people at the same time, with temporary and deployable installations and using light material like plastic and fiber. There was an attempt to modernist masterpiece is imagined in a contemporary way. The building imagines artists working and living together where the ground floor is a free space which can adapt to any function the first floor is dedicated to a co-working zone flexible in layout and the second floor becomes the living area where spaces are imagined to give artists a fun experience of living and interacting.

Community Housing Dariapur,Gujrat

The project focused on designing a Community Housing on the abandoned mill property of Ahmedabad. The intent for the design was to bring people together by providing shared spaces and connecting them with each other. The idea of a vertical pol was adopted as the site was in the UNESCO buffer zone of heritage properties and a try was made to relate it with the traditional housing of Ahmedabad in character and spatial organization. The interlocking units were designed in a way that the public and private was clearly bifurcated with the use of levels within the module. Interlocking helped in arranging various occupancy within the block forming shared passages and terraces for interaction.

CAT Collaborative The workshop focused on the generative architecture and its rationalization for construction through the method of prototyping various forms and systems were understood to design and build a research pavilion.

Build With Earth Understanding methods for sustainable construction with earth as a material was the main idea of this workshop where the process of rammed earth construction, making of CSEB and adobe blocks were understood with handson experience at hunarshala institute.

Ahmedabad Heritage League The aim of this workshop was to understand a transit in the walled city of Ahmedabad through documentation and mapping of the Heritage City, various problems wear identified and a proposal was prepared to solve those problems, aspects of the city such as local food, streets, ornamental details and building facade wear documented through the medium of photography and videography.

Beyond Facades Jaipur The aim of this workshop was to understand the old city of Jaipur which is divided into nine blocks by understanding the character of a particular block we looked at the altered spaces that had evolved through time and need.

Documentation Bir The documentation focused on understanding and measure-drawing houses of Bir Himachal Pradesh.

Design process The design was developed with the idea of keeping it deployable and mobile in order to accommodate comfort and change at the same time.

The design of the stool was developed on the basis of laser lattice hinge system which permits a flat surface to generate curves giving flexibility to the form.

Resource management and Sustainability Sustainability and resource management has become an important factor in architecture and its integration in the design process was understood in this project. Focusing on passive methods of heating and cooling as well as waste management the resort was designed using locally available resource and traditional techniques of construction were adopted to give the user comfort.
