Hello there,
I am a graduate architecture student from Pillai HOC college of architecture. The portfolio is a compilation of my abilities & skillsets acquired during my journey as an architecture student. It also reflects on my design thinking and ideology that is more driven towards a practical and sustainable approach. Designing is something that can be experimental and evolving by different approaches and perspectives , And that is what makes it so interesting for me. It is the process and creativity that fuels the entire design execution and also help connect us to the end users which should be our primary concern.

SITE
The idea was to create an upcycling cum community development centre in Mumbai due to the exponential increase in Mumbai's waste crisis. As the urban agglomeration is on the rise, there had to be an alternative proposed for decreasing the urban plastic waste. The user has been taken up from dharavi as they are well versed with sorting waste and the centre caters to a small number of 300 people along with kids. The activities promote better employment, hygiene and entrepreneurial behaviour amongst the user group

The idea was to redesign the planning of the entire Beirut port after it suffered a major blast. The planning is done in such a way that the there is a smooth circulation of vehicular and pedestrian. The dangerous cargo has been shifted towards empty container yards. (Previous reason of blast : wrong placement of dangerous cargo) All roads are designed in such a way so that the container truck do not have to make sharp turns Roundabouts are given at regular intervals are wherever required. Sufficient setbacks from warehouses are given.
Public Zone
In order to create a new public space on port for the victims families and friends, A memorial was proposed. It is proposed below passenger terminal and above free zone where the public footfall will be more. As Beirut lacks green and open spaces , It was thought that the memorial can be the new public space for the city. Something that will be used as the public space of the city for every important gathering occasions. As we have the benefit of a waterfront, we thought of going with a waterfront memorial park.
East Elevation
West Elevation
As the memorial is near the waterfront, Most of the façade should be able to get away from humidity. Glass panels are used in order for covering of openings. The structural system is RCC with lime plaster finish as it’s a self-healing material. Wooden fins are given for aesthetic appearance

Mass housing :2020
The zoning was done by demarcating roads along the landscape features so when a pedestrian walks, they get to experience the natural landscape. The masses were distributed with respect to the volumes. High rise were kept towards south so that they cast a shadow further onto mid n low rises A central atrium was created so that the wind patterns are not blocked and they are re-directed onto the entire site.
Facades joined with terraces for more wind flow throughout the site. South harsh sunlight will be projecting on most of the terraces tapping more light into the atrium.
The curvilinear behaviour of the facade might make the wind flow in all directions.
G+7 APARTMENT
GROUND FLOOR = 110 SQM FIRST FLOOR = 92SQM Bungalow was designed thinking about spacious interiors with double height open to sky spaces that will include social or cultural gathering.
As we go up , the built up reduces and naturally formed terraces are seen As most of the row houses are lake facing a running double height fenestration is given for view to be accessed from bedroom
Landscape design : 2019
The brief was to design the landscaping of site of a resort in Ratnagiri. Various resort spaces were distributed amongst the batch. In the space distributed to us , There was a gradually sloping contoured land with a lake in the vicinity of it. The contours were 0.6m. We took the gradually sloping contour and tried to play with levels to create a gathering space along with a camping spot. In the rear side of the levelled sit-out spaces, there is a track given for cyclists And also a green patch has been modified to sit-out space as the wind patterns are pre-dominant there.
PROPOSED PLAN
The bicycle pod has inclusive charging space with solar panels above.
Sit out Infront of the lake along with Camping facility to enjoy both lake views and camping at night. The stepped seating is made with sustainable concrete with stone pavers for pedestrian movement.
The stepped seating is made accessible via the camping area. A retaining wall is at the back supporting all levels. When not in use, the camping area can be a sand pit for kids to play During daytime.
The naturally created bicycle track is behind the retaining wall of the lake sit-out
The curved shaped seating is made out of customised glazed stone with a coat of non – slip varnish. It makes the seating water repellent During morning dews and rainfall. Circular planter spaces are provided in between to create a microclimate within
