My first professional task in architecture was to create a physical model over the summer of 2004. The cheesecloth canopy was delivered by the canopy sub-consultant. I built the rest of the model around this base. The model is now displayed in the front lobby of DDOT’s headquarters.

Site Design / Master Planning Chicago South Station Concept A proposed extension of Chicago’s commuter rail system. These two proposals demonstrate bus and rail facilities integrated into two different sites along I-94. My role was to convert a prototype layout to fit both sites and to show via massing studies of how the stations would appear from a nearby overpass.
Schematic Design Painesville Transit Hub The City of Painesville desired a traditional transit building which would blend into the surrounding downtown area. We proposed a transit center which concealed a modern interior under a more traditional roof line.
Construction Documentation Retail Buildout As a part of a retail buildout in Citi Field, home of the NY Mets, I assisted in the creation of a full CD set. This included specialty retail millwork, CNC files, and finishes. I travelled to NY to field measure the site and helped coordinate the drawing set.

Construction FoothillsDocumentation Mall Redevelopment I assisted with building and wall section development of the Foothills Mall in Fort Collins These sections were challenging due to the variety of materials and numerous minor projects throughout the facade.

Construction Documentation International Market Place 350,000 sq. ft. shopping mall in Hawaii. Features include 3 levels of open air shopping and 6 levels of parking. My primary role was coodination of vertical transportation systems, and development of plan details.

Construction Documents Kroger Renovations Assisted in the coordination of numerous Kroger store renovations. This includes coodination with various subconsultants and vendors. Typical projects involved new or upgraded cooler systems, kitchen facilities, and Click List service.


Construction Documents Dunkin/Baskin Robbins Develop and document both core & shell and tenant buildout for small retail buildings. These are typically “anchored� by a Dunkin Doughnuts, but may also include rental space for additional tenants.

Construction Documents Falling Down Tap Room Working closely with the Owners of Falling Down Brewery, we created a design to allow an operational bar and for future expansion when the Owners are financially ready. They intend to add an additional level to brew spirits and provide apartments.

Millwork &Retail CNC Files Build-out As part of the Citi Field Retail Buildout, I created cnc files and shop drawing level documents for several pieces of millwork.
Lawrence TechnologicalMasters University Thesis Massive Disaster Relief was the subject of my final project at LTU. The project focused both on providing housing and community services to the victims of natural disasters.
