I’m the owner and photographer for ShutterChic Photography. Thank you so much for taking the time to contact me about your senior photos! I got my start in photography by taking yearbook photos accross Colorado with a local company. Little did I know that my experience photographing students would turn into something greater. Seeing those bright, young faces, looking forward to the future, was the perfect precursor to my career today. I’ve been in business for a little over three years. When I’m not hanging with my HusBen, or baking my famous cookies, I’m behind the camera or at my computer. Putting together the perfect pose or going through photos from my latest session and prepping them for the client to view are truly some of my favorite things to do! FREQUENTLY A S K E D QUESTIONS
Q W H E R E WILL WE SHOOT? You have options! We could do a trendy urban setting in Old Town. Or go for the open field look. Maybe both? We’ll talk about this to decide what’s right for you!
Q WHAT ARE EDITED PHOTOS? The photos you order will get a basic color correction. Then skin will be touched up and recieve a light airbrush treatment.
Q WHO WILL BE AT THE SHOOT? Your beautiful self and your parent or guardian! I’ll be there too, and maybe my assistant. A parent is required to be at each session. If we travel to another location that requires driving, you two will ride together and I’ll meet you there!
Q W H E N DO I GET TO SEE MY PHOTOS? You’ll see your photos about two weeks after your session! The photos will be in an online gallery for you to view three days before your premier ordering session.
Q HOW DO I BOOK MY SESSION? After your consult at the studio I’ll send you a contract and an invoice. We’ll talk about which collection you’d like to book, what days work best for your schedule and book an appointment for hair and make-up!

4 BRING OUTFIT OPTIONS Normally during your session we have time for 2 or 3 outfit changes. Bring more than that though! Sometimes clothes won’t photograph how you’d like so it’s good to have options that we can work with to mix and match!
5 DON’T WORRY ABOUT BREAKOUTS Make-up will be done the best possible to cover any rough skin areas. Images will also be retouched after the session if you do have a pesky pimple!

There won’t be any need to stress when you arrive early to your appointments! Appointment times are scheduled strictly to give you a great experience as well as other clients. If you’re more than 15 mintues late, we will have to reschedule.

I was really pleased with my Senior Portraits from ShutterChic. My photo shoot was very interactive, and Tori gives great direction! She finds your perfect angles and spotlights them. I had so much fun on my shoot, and she makes you feel so comfortable! It usually takes forever for photographers to start working on editing your pictures, but she started right away! I was honestly expecting my senior pictures to look a lot like the other members of my class, but they don’t! The pictures of a higher quality than other photographers use, and she takes the time to narrow out which ones she thinks are the best. Tori is an amazing photographer and knows how to take beautiful pictures that are personal to you. She was so nice and made me feel so comfortable on both my shoots. When I went to L.A. for my college musical theater auditions I loved my headshots because they made me feel confident in myself. As for my senior pictures they were everything I wanted.
