THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR Dear Tiger Football Fans, On behalf of the Office of Athletics, we would like to welcome you to the upcoming Carroll football season, 2013 will be the first year of the new realignment. This year Carroll will face local rival King and familiar faces from San Antonio with East Central, South San and Southwest. A new opponent to District 28-5A is perennial powerhouse Cibolo Steele. As I attend the games this year, everyone will be expecting to see the traditional sea of Tiger Blue and Tiger Stripes throughout the stadium. It is great to see the strong support from the player’s family, classmates, teachers and administration. Also, with any high school athletic team, we sincerely appreciate the support of the Big Cat Booster Club in being a part of the strength behind the players as they participate on the field. Thank you, Carroll parents and business community for your hard work in producing this media guide. Best wishes on a great season!

Brenda Marshall

THE PRINCIPAL Dear Carroll Community,

ing season has begun. Our Friday nights are now filled with the excitement and enjoyment of Tiger Football, Tiger Band, Tigerettes, and our Tiger Cheer Squad. Participation in these activities and the multiple other extracurricular activities offered at Carroll High School serve as an educational tool that allows our Tigers to exemplify core values of respect, integrity, cooperation, self-discipline, sportsmanship, and citizenship. As a school and district leader, I would like to welcome you to all of our football games, as well as the numerous other activities and events throughout the 20132014 school year. The accomplishments and determination of our Tigers bring a sense of pride to the Carroll staff, their parents, family, and friends associated with the students’ efforts. Tiger football is an example of excellence in action. This excellence is mirrored by the other student organizations associated with tonight’s game and performances. As we embark on the 2013 Tiger Football season, we want to wish our young men success and hope they achieve every goal they set for themselves on the football field, in the classroom and in life. In addition, we are proud of all of our Tigers who have chosen to dedicate themselves to extracurricular activities at Carroll High School. Parents, families, and community members are an indispensable piece of our Tigers’ success as they are supported with your encouragement, time and resources. Thank you for allowing us to teach, coach, mentor, and be an active part of the lives of these Tigers. Our collective efforts continue to make Mary Carroll High School the Campus of Champions.

GO TIGERS!!! Kelly J. Manlove, Ed.D.
