DETAILS ABOUT MEMBERSHIP To become a member of an SGA study group, practice owners are invited who meet the following criteria: • Purchasing Services, Inc. Member in good standing with a commitment to supporting independent veterinary practices through group purchasing. • Progressive practice owners who are leaders in the veterinary community and are willing and able to share practice financial data on a confidential basis. • Committed to growing practice profitability through cost and time-efficient methods. • Financial and time commitment to attend and participate in biannual group meetings. • The SGA group will select an Executive Committee of four members who will provide leadership, direction, strategies and rules and regulations for the operation of the study group. • The SGA group requires you to utilize a veterinary-developed Chart of Accounts that will allow your practice along with other members of the study group to accumulate information based upon a common format.

The accounting firm will analyze and evaluate the data and report back twice each year to the study group in a professional meeting environment.
