Find out about supply you The letter enclosed with this brochure contains important information concerning your supply point. You will need it in your correspondence with Sibelga and your energy supplier. So keep it in a safe place. But what are we talking about exactly?
THE EAN-CODE This is an 18-digit code (e.g.: 5414489_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ __) identifying a gas or electricity supply point in your building. It is neither a customer number nor a meter number. You will need it to conclude an energy contract with a commercial supplier or if you ask Sibelga to carry out works.
THE METER TYPE AND NUMBER These allow you to easily identify the systems that supply you with gas and electricity. The number is on your meter. You will see at a glance whether it is a single or a dual dial meter.

• The day/night rate: the price is higher during “peak times” than during “off-peak times” (night-time and weekend hours). Note that these vary from one municipality to another. For more information, visit www.sibelga.be • The exclusive night-time rate is cheaper than the day/night rate. It is linked to an exclusive night meter and designed to supply electricity to electrical devices that operate only at night, such as storage heating or heating with an electric boiler.
If you have a dual dial meter, this does not necessarily mean you are charged by your supplier at the day/night rate. For more information, contact our Customer Service on 02 549 41 00 or visit our website www.sibelga.be > Rates > Rates per type of meter.
