BESPOKE SHOW HOME AND S P E C I F I C AT I O N DESIGN F O R A N C A S T E R G AT E IN RICHMOND Suna Interior Design is an awardwinning, London based, boutique interior design consultancy providing interior design services to property developers since 2001. Working in collaboration with clients on all elements of a development, from specification and CGIs through to the design and implementation of bespoke show homes and marketing suites. Ancaster Gate was an opportunity for Suna Interior Design to work with London Square on this prestigious development located right on the edge of Richmond Park in South West London, with astonishing views over the park. The Grade II listed Georgian mansion has been restored as three houses, alongside which four more properties have been sympathetically designed and built.
Fulfilling the archetypal ideal of the perfect ‘Dream Home’, these properties offered the prospect of designing a full interior specification that would work in conjunction with the innate features that formed part of the history, uniqueness and beauty of these homes. To then be given the brief to furnish and dress one of the refurbished properties as a show home for the development made this project a perfect showcase for the skills and design talent in the Suna Interior Design team. From the sweeping staircase in the entrance hall, to the elegant Georgian windows and luxurious high spec kitchen and bathrooms, the property exudes an air of period decadence synonymous with an era of English prosperity. These period features sit comfortably against the more contemporary furniture and furnishings with which the property has been dressed. Helen Fewster, Director at Suna Interior Design comments : “We are delighted to showcase this spectacular development, it is a very proud moment to see such amazing results.
