C C. PROCESSIONS 1. At the beginning of each Mass, there is a Procession of the Ministers at their entry to the Sanctuary. (Pg. 97 BCP).

Depending upon the occasion, from the fourth century, it is either a Simple or Solemn one. The latter takes place on the Principal Sundays and the Principal and Major

Festivals. (Pages 10-12 BCP).

2. On these Festivals, Stations may be made at the places printed in the Lectionary (pg. 4-5), or on the Feast Day.

3. During Lent and Advent, the Great Litany or suitable

Seasonal Liturgical Hymns may be sung.

4. At Evensong in this Diocese and in many other Dioceses at Major Festivals such as Easter, Christmas, Pentecost and other Major Festivals, processions are held in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary in some Churches.

5. Directives:  Processions during the Festival of Dedication with a Station at any suitable location in the Church:
