The demonstration dynamics and motion track – all advantages at a glance The profile of the demonstration dynamics and motion track has been designed such that easy, safe and quick experimenting is ensured. As it is 1.5 m long, it offers enough space for all the required physical experiments. The track is particularly distinguished by the following features: Quick-lock system for easy and safe fastening of fork light barriers Use of Phywe standard fork light barriers which can also be used for other experiments Support feet adjustable over the entire track length, i.e. trouble-free and safe set-up also on small tables Travelled distance as a function of time. The new Phywe demonstration dynamics and motion track – Easy, quick and reliable presentation of low-friction motions Phywe experimentation cart with special low-friction bearings The Phywe experimentation cart for the dynamics and motion track is a brand new product and thus perfectly adapted to the experimentation system. It offers the following advantages: Sapphire-mounted axles with a particularly low frictional resistance. The wheels are protected against impact and overload by a spring system and cannot be damaged under pressure. The wheels are embedded in the cart body so that there is no wheel contact on a plane surface. Wheel contact is only possible on the profile of the dynamics and motion track. The cart can also be used on the Phywe track no. 11606.00. The cart is equipped with holders and eyes to fasten numerous accessories, e.g. plates, weights, diaphragms, hooks etc.

Easy-to-use timer for a variety of applications wherever time has to be measured with a high level of precision. This unit with its six different operating modes can be adapted to almost any experimental time measurement problem. For track experiments, there are three operating modes (path-time law for four distances, measurement of velocity at four points, laws of collision) and all of them make use of all four displays. Examples of applications of the timer unit: Operating mode 1: Uniform or accelerated linear motion - The four timers are started simultaneously at the beginning of the experiment and stopped successively by four light barriers during the measurement. Operating mode 2: Instantaneous velocity - Each of the four timers is switched on and off by its own light barrier.

Operating mode 3: Collision experiments - The shadowing times of the light barriers at inputs 1 and 3 are measured twice. The following times are simultaneously displayed: interruption time of light barrier 1 (LB 1) before the collision, LB 1 after the collision, LB 3 before the collision and LB 3 after the collision.

Operating mode 4: Recording of rotary motion (revolution period) - Display 1 is started when the START/STOP input is activated for the first time. A second switching action of the same input (after a full revolution) stops the display. Operating mode 5: Pendulum motion – Display 1 is started when the START/STOP input is activated for the first time. A second switching action of the same input (after half a period) has no effect, the third switching action (after complete period) stops the display.

Operating mode 6: Short-term and long-term measurement – Displays 1 and 2 with four digits each are combined to form an eight-digit display. Resolution 10-4 s; Display range: 0 s to 9999.9999 s!
