In Colombia, we have rhythm in our blood. Here we walk as if we're dancing and we talk with a sing-song tone. Music in our country is not heard, it is lived. We have an "I don't know what" that spreads and makes people move. The schedule of our festivals and carnivals is endless. In each of our regions, there is a different rhythm (that's why we are known as the country of 1000 rhythms). Our artists are recognized throughout the world. And we even have cultural heritage of humanity rhythms and songs. IF THERE IS A COUNTRY THAT VIBRATES WITH THE EMOTIONS THAT ITS MUSIC PRODUCES, IT IS COLOMBIA.

Altitude difference between the cities means that climates vary for each region and, thanks to their geographical location, the country’s coastal regions are not affected by hurricanes.

And it is within the ancient ramparts separating it from modernity that you can find colonial mansions with colorful balconies, narrow streets that emerge onto plazas, colonial churches and former cloisters

that have now become sumptuous boutique hotels. In addition to the history and culture permeating Cartagena de Indias, it also offers beaches and small islands ideal for scuba diving and water sports.

CULTURAL LANDSCAPE

Declared a Cultural Heritage of Humanity Site by UNESCO, the Coffee Cultural Landscape is comprised of Caldas, Quindío, Risaralda and Norte del Valle departments and it represents the country’s coffee tradition. It is encircled by a mountainous landscape contrasting with Spanish-influenced architecture of compressed earth and bahareque construction with tiled roofs, surrounded by coffee plantations. This territory is brimming

with traditions, as demonstrated by its handicrafts, cuisine and fairs which preserve its peasant heritage and folklore. All complemented with 3 of the country’s most important capitals: Manizales, Armenia and Pereira, all modern cities which provide the infrastructure necessary for high-level events.
