Grass Sensotronic supports both of these trends. Drawers, pull-outs and inset drawers open and close in response to a gentle tap. They move different loads of up to 70 kg uniformly open and shut at the set speed. This assistance in the kitchen is particularly helpful when you consider that stored items are accessed up to 10,000 times a year. And the drawers think with you: they sense resistance and stop, avoid collisions amongst themselves and protect against nip injuries. Intelligence moves. And yet it’s so simple. Convenient opening for handle-free furniture. Grass was quick to recognise the trend towards kitchens and furniture which create a sleek, minimalist impression and began to develop hardware solutions for handle-free fronts over two years ago. The result is two Tipmatic Plus systems for doors and drawers which are entirely mechanical in function and impose no restrictions on the user. The basic idea is simple: the easier and more straightforward the handling, the greater the delight experienced by users. Tipmatic Plus for drawers. The drawer can be opened by tapping any point on the front. Irrespective of whether that is at the top, bottom, right or left, or in the centre, the drawer opens gently and provides the user with convenient access to its contents. This full-surface activation mechanism is made possible by the synchronization of the Tipmatic Plus fitting. Simply unique and purely mechanical.

Unique and perfect Tipmatic Plus is the first synchronised mechanical fitting for handlefree drawers used in conjunction with double-wall slide systems. This unique feature offers considerable advantages over previous touchlatch systems. The particular design of handle-free furniture can now benefit from the added value of top-class functionality provided by this hardware from Grass. developers focused particular attention on the catch function. Unlike previous touch-latch solutions, the drawer is held reliably closed even if pushed forcefully shut. Nova Pro Cucina for drawers For drawers the range includes different modules for storing herbs and spices. The rack inserts, like the spice containers, are made of top-grade stainless steel. The lids for the spice containers come in a choice of various types in stainless steel or glass depending on the application. And there is also a rack insert for use with commonly sold spice jars, e.g. those made by Ubena and Fuchs. A kitchen roll dispenser in a combination of maple and stainless steel is also available to take rolls of kitchen tissue and foil.

To ensure optimal use of the space you will always need a basic module If you are left with a residual width you can use this to fit an extension module.
Determine the inside drawer width Before you select modules from the Grass Vario System, determine the cabinet inside drawer width.

If you are left with a residual width after selecting the basic module, an extension module can be added.

Drawer divider Storage space can be organized by dividing the drawer / pull-out without using railing systems – thanks to the Nova Pro drawer divider. Compensation of the cabinet side wall thickness between 15 mm and 20 mm is no problem thanks to the elastic clamping element. In addition, the aluminium sections themselves can also be shortened. The drawer divider is available in RAL 9006 metallic.

Installation notes Use Tipmatic Plus for modern furniture design and incorporate fronts which are flush with the cabinet sides. • Select the required activation zone in accordance with your front configuration and then determine the required activation distance (in relation to the highest front) so •
that the depth of the cabinet sides can be calculated. • The activation distance can be reduced as follows: - Plan consistently lower fronts, which will also produce smoother lines in the horizontal. - The stability of pot drawers can be increased by
using a higher railing distance or even front supports. • Bear in mind that front buffers increase the front gap. • Tipmatic Plus is only suitable for handle-free fronts. The drawer must be tapped to open it. • When transporting the
cabinet the locking unit must be disengaged (front gap < 3 mm). • Installation: see installation instructions
