About us Geoff Mockett and Dustine Palmer are the owners of Signature Homes Taranaki and have been building quality homes across the region for more than 15 years. New Home Consultants Our New Home Consultants (NHCs) ask a lot of questions because their job is to find the perfect build package for you, at the right price for your budget. Ask them questions too, our NHCs will always find you an answer and they are with you every step of the way.

Colour Consultants & Interior Designers Don’t worry if you don’t have an eye for interior design – when you build with us you have access to your own design team, including a colour consultant who will help guide you through these key decisions.

Building Project Managers Once your build is locked down and signed off, your Building Project Manager (BPM) will manage the tradespeople on your site and all the requirements for the remainder of your build, keeping it on time and on budget, right up until you move in.

Design Team Our experienced architects, designers and estimators turn your dream into conceptual drawings and 3D images. They’ll show you a range of plans from our collections that could work on your site or, if you’re after something a little different, talk you through the process of designing your new home from scratch.

Get the full package when you sell your section with Signature Homes Taranaki Often it can be hard for buyers to visualise what a house could look like on a bare section for sale and the costs involved in getting it out of the ground. Because of this, it can be difficult for them to determine what is a fair price for a particular piece of land. By selling your section as a House & Land package we can remove the ‘unknowns’ by showing people what can be achieved on the site in turn, making the site more attractive to buyers. Marketing your land as a House & Land package can take the guesswork away, and open up your sales opportunity to a much wider market. Our House & Land package selling service is a one-stopshop, where we will come up with a suitable house design for your section and take it to market at no cost to you.

How it all works 1

Meet & greet We’ll either meet you at our offices or at your section to discuss how our House & Land package sales process works and the benefits. We’ll begin to get an idea of what you’re hoping to achieve from the sale of your section, helping us paint a picture of what our package needs to offer.

Site assessment We’ll do a walkover of your section with our design and construction team to start to visualise what house design would be best suited to the section. We’ll identify who we think would be the ideal target audience for your section, ultimately deciding on the type of house we will design. Our initial site assessment involves; • What’s access like to the site • Does the site have any slope or contour issues that could significantly impact the costs to build on your site • Would there need to be any removal of trees and other obstacles that would get in the way of building a home on the site • Are there services already connected to the site or would these need to be installed • How the site is orientated to the sun • If any groundworks or retaining work is required.

Initial house design & cost estimate Once we have a proposed house design in place with the estimated costs, we will present it back to you for review and work through the pricing of the package to ensure we secure a premium price for the section part of the package. Going to market Once we’ve agreed on the House & Land package starting from price, we will begin your marketing campaign. Buyer site visits Once the marketing campaign is live, we will start to receive requests for site visits; for the first 2-weeks of the campaign, we will run open weekends to create a bit of hype and attract multiple groups to the site, which helps to develop a sense of urgency. Sale of the House & Land Package If all goes to plan, we will find the right buyer at the right price, and your section will be sold with 100% of the sale price of the section yours to take home.
