Waterproof aluminium snap frame with 35mm wide brushed silver profiles

Waterproof snap frames Waterproof snap frames have an inbuilt gasket to ensure prints are kept dry in all weathers. They are available in two profiles: 25mm or 35mm wide. As with all our snap frames they are supplied complete with wall fixings and poster cover sheet.

Waterproof snap frames

Tamper-resistant snap frames These frames are designed to prevent unauthorised access. Lockable Snap Frames can only be opened with an allen key. The four sides of the snap frame are interlocked. The last side to close has a discreet allen key type lock, offering extra security. (Key supplied). Waterproof lockable frames are for vulnerable outdoor locations. Secure Frames require a lever tool to open them, as the profile does not have the usual finger-lift groove. Stocked in A4 and A3.

Larger frames are best screwed while smaller frames may be fixed with adhesive pads. Eclips frames are best fitted adjacent to rather than on doors (see Vista alternative below). Final assembly is required during fitting. Instructions are provided.

Both the back panel and front cover are flexed into place into their respective grooves. The front cover can be easily removed to insert a new graphic (with the help of the supplied suction cup).

The panel does not need to be drilled. The base aluminium profile is first fixed to the wall. Then the clamping profile is located and tightened from below with allen screws, after introducing the panel.

Clamper can be used with twin glass plates with a graphic or door nameplate insert sandwiched between (pictured left and right). The 150mm square version can be ordered as a stock item - see price table. Various lengths of Clamper are supplied to suit larger panels.

Opti Frames - smaller size snap frames

Opti Frames are a special type of aluminium snap frame with a moulded rigid plastic back panel. They blend perfectly with other snap frames - with the benefit of extra safety, thanks to the plastic tipped corners avoiding any sharp extremities.

Opti Snap Frames Can be wall-mounted or used on desks and counters. All smaller size frames (up to A4) are available with a detachable fold-away support strut which can be fitted for landscape or portrait display.

Window Snap Frame - for double-sided poster display on windows

Window Wizards work on most types of glass, acrylics and white goods. They can be used landscape or portrait, single- or double-sided.

Window Snaps come with a Counter-frame which is stuck to the reverse side of the glass to conceal the adhesive fixings. Window Wizard has strips which cling when smoothed onto clean glass (apply inside window).

A4 Meso and Tilt are generally wind-stable outdoors. A3 Meso and Tilt are supplied as standard with a heavy duty Tpiece for extra frame rigidity in outdoor use. The A3 size should prove wind stable in most situations but the larger frame size makes A3 more susceptible to toppling than A4 in exposed situations. The reduced height compared with full-height FreeStanders also makes these products a good choice where wind stability is a selection factor.

Monolith base and panel

Info Monoliths can be easily adapted to the way you wish to display information (for indoor use). BASES: There are two widths of sturdy steel base, both finished in silver (500mm or 750mm wide). Each base is in two mating halves which are joined underneath with concealed bolts. These bolts pass through the panel, clamping and supporting it. Poster changing is easy with snap frames attached to the brushed silverfaced Dibond panel. A2 snap frames can be ordered ready fixed onto this stylish substrate and the panel is then gripped rigidly by the Monolith base.

PANELS: We stock two types of panel (other types of rigid panel can also be used) normally up to 1500mm high to ensure stability. Aluminium composite panel (Dibond) 4mm thick 500/750mm wide x 1500mm high with brushed silver finish both sides. Poster frames and/or graphics can be applied easily. The panel top edge is finished with a poster snap rail for safety. Clear acrylic panel 10mm thick, 500mm x 1500mm high with polished edges. Visual decoration and graphics can be added, such as the applied metallic strips and etch effect vinyl shown in the picture. Posters can be attached with Window Wizards which are fully re-usable.

Cable display kits complete with 4.0m floor-to-ceiling cables (which can be cut to length), plus all required fittings and clear acrylic easy access poster pockets are supplied as sets - in two versions. Stand-off wall fixings

Midi Midi stand-offs are high quality wall fittings suitable for fixing many types of sign substrate which can be drilled with an 8mm hole - normally a hole in each corner.

Steel

The rear part of the Midi is first screwed to the wall. The front part of the fitting holds the panel in place and is secured with a tiny grub screw and allen key (included). The panel stands 21mm (3/4") away from the wall.

Midi fittings are available in three finishes: shiny chrome, matt silver and polished gold. The head diameter is 15mm. They suit panels up to 11mm thick. The fittings are suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

These stainless Steel fittings are especially stylish. They work like Midi fittings (with a discreet allen screw) so panels are secure even when used outdoors in vulnerable public areas. Steel fittings can be used with materials such as acrylic, Dibond or metal plaques. There are two popular sizes, each suiting panels up to 11mm thick drilled with 8mm holes: 15mm or 20mm diameter (also standing off the wall 15mm and 20mm respectively).

Poster frames for attaching to posts Waterproof snap frames are available complete with a post fitting kit suitable for many lamp posts, bus stop posts, scaffold poles etc.

These Slim frames are supplied with cable-tie fixing lugs bonded to the back of the frame.

The A4 and A3 size waterproof frames can be fastened securely with heavy duty cable-tie fittings rivetted to the back of the frame.

They are useful for attaching to posts, structures, trellis. They suit laminated prints and are suitable for outdoors.

Data Strip is used for displaying shelf-edge labels. It is ideal for EPOS systems and general pricing. We stock three styles of data strip which suit most situations.

DS.HEL39 has a wide top section with self-adhesive strip for fixing onto shelf tops. DS.DBR39 is for attaching to vertical shelf fronts and racks. Samples are available to check fit - please call.

Stakeholder

Pot solution

StakeHolder comprises an aluminium stake and T-piece intended for sticking in the ground. Can be used with A5 and A4 Slim frames.

T-Pot holder designed to attach Slim frames of A4 and A5 sizes to upturned terra cotta or similar pots. The special T-piece has a metal threaded stud which passes through the hole in the pot.

Stakeholders should be ordered together with the appropriate size and colour of Slim frame for your application.

Two large nylon washers protect the pot and a large wing nut is supplied for hand tightening the assembly from inside the pot.

The planning notice (above) looks good with an orange frame. In a garden centre environment green, dark green and black are popular choices.

Eco Budget range of wood framed chalkboards - an economical option, ideal for bistros, coffee shops etc. The come with screw-in eyes for wall hanging.

Posterman pens are most popular with our garden centre customers as they are fully waterproof outdoors. They can of course be used indoors as well - see opposite.

Illumigraph pens are wet-wipe pens. They can be cleaned off with a damp cloth - making them ideal for menu displays in bars and restaurants.

(A5 can be used in bed card track). PLEASE NOTE: *Chalk Cards are a consumable item with a limited life. In particular the larger sizes should not be exposed to strong direct sunshine as they can distort permanently if they get too hot. They should NOT be used behind a plastic cover. They can normally be erased and re-used for a limited number of cycles. See erasing advice under Posterman pens.

Posterman pens POSTERMAN pens are ideal for hand-written POS signs. They are waterproof and fade resistant outdoors. Yet remarkably they can be easily cleaned off many surfaces - such as glass and plastics, including Correx. This makes it easy to change your messages or prices. For removing Posterman from non-porous surfaces we recommend Mr Muscle Window & Glass cleaner. There are two standard nib sizes, Chisel for smaller sign writing and Big 'n Broad for doing bolder signs.

Series 50 lockable noticeboards are weather-proof for use outdoors. Sturdy anodised aluminium frames are 50mm deep with hinged door and shatter-resistant front glazing. Available with either corkboard back panel for pinning notices (supplied with a set of pins) or magnetic back panels for use with magnet fixing buttons (supplied). LED Snaplight is a superb slim-line edge-lit light box, with a sleek aluminium case just 22mm thick.

Snaplight T5 is a smart edge-lit lightbox, only 28mm thick, with a snap frame front to give easy access to your posters.

LED illumination has many advantages: it is the longest life light source (no tubes to change every year or two) with the lowest running costs. These valuable features are combined with bright illumination, cool running, excellent reliability and no maintenance for 100,000 hours.

Styled in anodised aluminium and complete with slim T5 fluorescent tubes, lead and plug, these lightboxes are for wall-mounting indoors. They offer high illumination and evenly spread light to make your printed poster or transparency bright and vibrant.

LED (light emitting diode) light boxes may not be the cheapest to buy, but the true life cost is actually significantly lower than other light boxes because of the energy efficiency factor. The environmental advantages are thrown in for good measure.

T5 Tubes are 15mm in diameter. As with standard fluorescent light fittings the tubes should be changed periodically.

Outdoor LED illuminated case Outdoor LED Light-box has all the advantages of LED (above) combined with an exterior grade locking case. The LEDs are bonded into the edge of the light diffusion plate, which is built into the case. Clips are provided to hold your poster or Duratrans in front of the lighted panel. The door is then closed with a rubber sealing strip, provided to keep out the elements. A good quality cylinder lock completes and secures this stylish illuminated poster case. The main features of Outdoor LED Light-box are: Heavy duty frame with hinged locking door. Bright illumination combined with low power consumption.

Lumi Totem is a stylish and practical floor-standing light box. Display eye-catching illuminated images and posters printed on paper, backlit film or Duratrans. Changing posters is a snap quite literally - as the side profiles snap open: simply insert graphic. Convex Lightbox is for wall mounting indoors.

Lumi Totem is double-sided: on each face there is a poster protector sheet to retain and protect your graphic image.

It is backlit with a T8 fluorescent tube behind an opal back panel. Access to posters is by snap frame extrusions down each side of the frame. This is a simple attractive curved-face lightbox - ideal for display of illuminated menus (can also be fitted landscape).

Monsterframe is a sturdy, versatile and attractive system for attaching large banners to walls - both outside and indoors.

Monsterframe is a clever system for mounting banners. It consists of smart aluminium extrusions which can be joined easily and securely to make up virtually any size frame, which is then fixed to the wall. Heavy-duty buttons are supplied which twist-lock into the groove in the back of the frame, providing anchor points for securing the banner. Banners can be attached by various methods - depending on whether they are pre-fitted with eyelets. Continuous elasticated shock cord or bungy hooks are two popular options (illustrated). This fixing system allows banners to be fitted/changed with ease. Because the system is so flexible and will cope with many sizes we offer a rapid quote service to suit your particular circumstances. Flying Arc

Fixed Arc allows flat graphics panels to be wall mounted in a curved form creating a striking and original effect. Suitable for any internal space.

Wall fixings for Arc poles are either black plastic or satin finish stainless steel as shown above. A hybrid system (left) also allows for one end of a Flying Arc to land on a wall-fixed pole.

Fixed Arc is for walls. Flexible graphic panels 10mm thick (typically foam PVC) with Arc profiles slotted onto each end are simply sprung into place between Arc poles which have been fixed to the wall.

Arc System offers innovative ways to display lightweight graphics panels. Flying Arc is the suspended version of our Arc system.

Flying Arc is for ceilings. A flexible twin-wall polycarbonate panel with direct printed or applied graphics is capped with Arc profiles. The panel is simply flexed into a curve and secured in an arc shape by tension cables. Suspension wires with appropriate ceiling fixings complete the impressive display.

Soistes display system can be used to create a complete showroom or as store fitting-out system. This solution is especially appropriate for combining the display of graphics together with merchandise and brochures displays. Print shops, travel agents and shops-in-shops are examples of relevant stores. Showrooms can be created on exhibition stands and in dedicated display areas.

Print Soistes Print Soistes is from the Soistes ‘standard products’ range. It is a print or banner holder with a built-in spring tensioner at both top and bottom. The banner requires a sleeve at each end (which can be formed using tape or adhesive velcro) so it can be threaded onto the support bars. These bars then locate onto height-adjustable cradles with an inbuilt spring to keep the display tight. Max banner size: 650mm wide x 1600mm high
