Adams-Pickett featured in "Birthing Justice" Documentary on PBS Stations Nationwide

Soror Donna Adams-Pickett, MD, PhD, charter member of Alpha Alpha Epsilon Omega Chapter in Columbia County, GA has been lending her voice to the national discussion on the current state of Black Maternal Health in the U.S. Soror Adams-Pickett’s advocacy and passion for this topic has recently been featured in the documentary “Birthing Justice”, co-produced by celebrated Olympian Soror Allyson Felix. “Birthing Justice” has been screened at the Congressional Black Caucus, the United Nations, and most recently, aired nationwide on PBS stations throughout the month of April for National Minority Health Month. Recognized and respected nationally as a subject matter expert, Soror Adams-Pickett’s commitment to raising awareness to protect black mothers has also been highlighted on the PBS series “Brief, But Spectacular” during Black History and Women’s History Month as well as featured in The New York Times and The Grio’s digital and visual platforms.
