PROPOSED DIRECTION FOR THE AREA VARNHEM VILLAGE IN THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN • A square is developed for the plot with a public function • Bybäcken is made visible again on the site • Housing concepts for instance a garden city can be tested for new buildings on the plot • Gate to the monastery area is created in the southern part of the site • Characterized lighting on the square is an important detail • New buildings have varying forms of tenures and scale • Hotel business can be tested within the area
