I’m Silvia! I’m a fashion and graphic designer focus on Large and Small Leather Goods Accessories.

ABOUT ME

My name is Silvia Taccola, I was born in Milan on 30 September 1993. I grew up in the countryside of the province surrounded by nature and with the desire to explore the outside world.

I consolidated the English language and in Spain as a photographer of aspiring models, thanks to the Erasmus Plus scholarship won through the university. Finally I moved from Milan to Florence for work.

I attended the scientific high school which trapped my artistic side in a corner but helped me develop a considerable dose of determination and adaptability to all situations, laying a solid foundation on which I leaned to face the university. Since I was little I have always loved playing with my mother’s clothes and make-up and then starting to dream and design stage costumes for small theatrical performances and themed parties, so the choice of university address was natural.

I currently carry out a very dynamic job in the world of luxury leather goods for Bulgari Accessori s.r.l. which allows me to explore and touch the creative and productive process at 360 °. For this reason, my approach to work is characterized by two souls, one more creative, curious and open minded, the other more meticulous, organized and aimed at achieving goals. University and work experiences have led me to appreciate teamwork, with which I have always achieved maximum results. I am not afraid to get involved in completely new challenges. I have a strong spirit of adaptation to the different contexts and objectives that are submitted to me. For additional details, I invite you to consult my Curriculum Vitae.

When I started the fashion design faculty at the Politecnico di Milano I thought it was a crazy, artistic world, totally different from the high school I came from. Instead I was able to experiment and cultivate my creativity but following an almost scientific method to channel it into concrete and industrializable projects. I had some experiences abroad, in Ireland, where

BVLGARI through the eyes of

MARY KATRANTZOU Special project Capsule Collection in collaboration with the Greek fashion designer Mary Katrantzou T E A M P R OJ E CT A S GRAPHIC DESIGNER - 1 YEAR

BVLGARI MARY KATRANTZOU

“It’s not just about highlighting the Serpenti icon but also about creating a connection to its nature as a symbol for rebirth and transformation. Women have very diverse roles that they occupy and I always feel it’s my responsibility to design with that woman in mind.”. Mary Katrantzou “Bulgari Serpenti through the eyes of Mary Katrantzou”, is a limited-edition accessories collection consisting of bags, minaudières and silk scarves, all revolving around the idea of Metamorphosis. Since ancient times the Serpenti holds powerful symbolism in Roman mythology. Drawn to the idea of metamorphosis, the intention was to highlight the Serpenti as a symbol of femininity, transformation and rebirth.

The idea of Metamorphosis inspired the creation of the printed embellished bags, as well as the artwork on the scarves. The Serpenti starts coiled, with its scales forming a spiral, slowly breaking apart and transitioning into wing-like shapes that ultimately turn into butterflies.

BVLGARI through the eyes of

YOON AMBUSH Special project Capsule Collection in collaboration with the KoreanAmerican fashion designer Yoon Ambush T E A M P R OJ E CT A S GRAPHIC DESIGNER - 1 YEAR

BVLGARI YOON AMBUSH

“I wanted to express the bold and contemporary character of Serpenti. Snakes are wondrous and fascinating creatures of nature but with Bvlgari they also became a symbol of glamour in constant evolution. Natural beauty meets human creation, all guided by a contemporary aesthetic” Yoon Ambush “Serpenti Through the Eyes of Ambush” is a limited-edition handbags and accessories collection born out of the exciting special collaboration. Grown up with pop culture, which moulded her open mind and diverse creativity, Yoon Ambush is famed for her real-life inspired creations with high-end touch. Today she challenges herself with a new venture. Vibrant colours, unbelievably soft shapes referring to the snake’s stunning

natural beauty and a fresh, cool design are at the core of Yoon’s vision. Inspired by the Tree Python of South East Asia, a species famed for its striking, artificial-looking colours and fascinating movements, Yoon designed three new styles: the Serpenti shoulder bag, the versatile Serpenti belt bag and the dangerously tempting Serpenti Minaudière.

BVLGARI through the eyes of

ALEXANDER WANG Special project Capsule Collection in collaboration with the American fashion designer Alexander Wang T E A M P R OJ E CT A S GRAPHIC DESIGNER - 1 YEAR

BVLGARI ALEXANDER WANG

“My creative thought process starts from this question: “How can I take the things of everyday life and elevate them?”and “How can I relate to precious objects and make them suitable for everyday everyday life?”. So when I read the inspiration behind Bvlgari pieces, I felt a connection with the Maison.” Alexander Wang “Serpenti through the eyes of Alexander Wang was a project launched for the first time in 2017. A metropolitan Eden of belt bags, totes, satchels and shoulder bags, making their debut during Milan Fashion Week. Timeless, precious, functional. This collaboration takes the key elements of the buying ritual at boutiques (watch cases, paper shopping bags, etc.) and “elevate” them, making them very special as only a house with

such a heritage can have. During his research, the designer was attracted to a snake head made in the 1950s, a special piece capable of emanating an authentic aura of timelessness. We replicated that specific design, and so we made it the focal point of the entire capsule collection.

Inspired by typical packaging materials such as paper and shopping bags, the designer blends traditional silhouettes and innovative shapes.

BVLGARI HIROSHI FUJIWARA

“I felt that Bulgari was looking to do something new that they have never done before. I thought about expanding the possibilities for the Bulgari fans and the people who are interested in the brand.” Hiroshi Fujiwara

As a famed provocateur in fashion and design, the Japanese creative director Hiroshi Fujiwara brings his own disruptive vision to Bvlgari’s best-known icon, Serpenti Forever. Fujiwara is now the creative force behind a new capsule collection that will reveal his way of seeing Serpenti through his eyes. Bulgari Serpenti Forever with Fujiwara moves boldly into new creative territories playing with materials, logo & shapes and

enriching Serpenti Forever existing assortment. Dressing up three styles from the Serpenti universe Fujiwara joins the ultimate street style fabric with an absolute luxury piece. A juxtaposition of opposites, it is but the latest expression of Bvlgari’s rulebreaking attitude in the transformation of surprising materials into supremely luxurious creations.

BVLGARI JUAN AVELLANEDA

“It has been a wonderful process, with an incredible team and I can only thank everyone who made this project possible. The way to wear it will be different, but I have thought of both when designing it”. Juan Avellaneda

“Serpenti through the eyes of Juan Avellaneda” is a limited-edition handbags collection born out of the special collaboration between Bulgari and the young Spanish influencer and fashion designer Juan Avellaneda. Baptized as “In the Garden of Eden”, the capsule has two versions of the iconic Serpenti bag inspired by the purest hedonism. Avellaneda has created a collection that stands out for its “creativity” and

“versatility”, according to the firm, since one of the models can be used by both women and men. The two pieces that have been reverted by the Catalan designer have been the Serpenti Forever, the house’s most iconic model that is renewed with a Mediterranean flair, and the Serpenti Diamond Blast, a larger model that is inspired by the eight-pointed star. from the Bvlgari “boutique” in Via Condotti. 43

BVLGARI HIROHIKO ARAKI

“I would be really happy if my articles could protect the people who carry them, for health and safety, and in times when they have to fight, for love or in their work ”. Hirohiko Araki

“Bvlgari x Hirohiko Araki” was a 2017 collaboration between Bulgari and the famous comic book artist Hirohiko Araki. The Japan-limited Capsule Collection consisted of various stylish accessories themed after the Stand, Killer Queen. Thus was born a capsule collection that perfectly combines high quality craftsmanship and fun in pop culture. In the manga “The Bizarre Adventures of Jojo”, there is a kind of supernatural
