Born of a childhood friendship, Pokitomik arrived in Simi Valley in 2020. The birth was, of course, delayed by the pandemic, but fearless entrepreneur Arthur Arushanyan was determined to bring his flavor creation to his adopted and beloved hometown, Simi Valley. Emigrating from Armenia in 1994, Arthur’s family wanted to live the American dream of promise, hope and freedom. Today, Arthur lives that dream to the fullest. Pokitomik was a leap of faith that was started in Glendale in 2017, then expanded to Chatsworth before coming to Simi. Pokitomik is a ‘new-school’ poke restaurant providing the freshest and finest flavors daily. Poki, a native Hawaiian seafood dish, has been embraced and elevated by Arthur and his partner. Pokitomik is a family affair with Arthur’s wife Ashley and his two children, Arsen (4) and Izabella (2) helping dad deliver fresh fare daily. TUNA MANGO POKE BOWL

What’s Rollin’ The story continues for this self proclaimed ‘serial-entrepreneur’. Arthur recently launched, ‘Whats Rollin’ a hand rolled ice cream shop based on Thai street food. Located next-door to Pokitomik, all house-made ice cream is hand rolled with a variety of toppings rolled into a quintessential frozen confection. In addition to his culinary duties, Arthur is a co-owner at World Class Paint & Body. Arthur is a man of faith, devoted to his family and community. He regularly donates to police and fire fundraisers and participates in sponsoring school and youth sports teams. For dinner and dessert head to Pokitomik and What’s Rollin’ for a happy explosion of flavor and satisfaction.
