WASSAP @ LIBRARY RESOURCES

Right choice for your assignments MANY STUDENTS ARE UNAWARE THAT IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO CITE INFORMATION FROM A CREDIBLE SOURCE. USE THE PREMIUM E-RESOURCES WHEN DOING YOUR ASSIGNMENT... MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE & ACE YOUR ASSIGNMENT! At the start of each semester, most students are tasked to complete many projects & assignments. You’ll end up having a hard time getting started with your research and may find yourself stuck.

What’s a good way to get out when you get stuck? The answer is, ASK! Don’t be afraid to ask your fellow classmates, your lecturer, go online, not forgetting your friendly librarians at SIM Library. To make research a less painful experience, we hold many free hands-on classes - infoskills workshops, info-clinic sessions and e-info roadshow. The topics covered during these activities include the effectiveness of using OneSearch & the library online databases versus using Google. You will learn how to access OneSearch, how to search for e-books, e-journals & e-newspapers, and identify the right database for the subject.

Sounds good? It gets even better now as we are currently running lunchtime / evening workshops. Announcements can be found in SIMConnect, UniSIM Student Portal and Library Website. Click on the image to register for this free training workshop.
