My name is Lisa, I'm 24 years old and I'm from Germany. I live here together with my boyfriend in an apartment, and am doing 3-year schooling to work in a medical lab afterwards. I'm really enjoying it! Beside Sims it's something I'm really passionate about. Most of my freetime I'm playing the Sims, but sometimes I like to draw or do some crafts as well.

SulziSim: When did you start playing The Sims?

I think when I was 6 or 7 my

siblings got me into the game. Back then I was always excited to come home from school and play The Sims! I guess this hasn't changed at all hahah. I haven't played Sims 2 for a long time, but I was really into the Sims CastAway. A friend of mine had a PS2 where we spent many afternoons playing. Some years later my brother got me into The Sims 3, and there I also started with building. I still remember how I watched YouTube videos where someone built a house and I went step by step to rebuild the whole house. I think with the Sims 4 I only started like 3-4 years ago, but ever since then I can't stop building stuff because I love the build mode from that game!

SulziSim: On your YouTube channel, you have a lot of building videos. What got you into building and not as much of gameplay?

Whenever I try to do some gameplay, I always get bored after a couple of hours. I think that's super sad, because there is so much to do in life mode, but I just always drift into building again. Maybe I just need to start a challenge where I have some goals!

SulziSim: What is your favorite building style to do?

I love cottages and tiny homes! I really enjoy making my builds as cute and cozy as possible. Micro homes are always a really nice challenge which are a lot of fun for me!

SulziSim: You do participate in some challenges here and there, what is your favorite challenge to do in the Sims?

I like to do room challenges, because they are not so big and don't take up that much time. They can be really inspiring, for example if you're only allowed to use a certain amount of packs or specific items. Sometimes I join shell challenges as well, but only if the shell is not that large.

SulziSim: You also use reshade when building. Can you tell the readers more about it and if you recommend using reshade?

I absolutely adore reshade! It's some kind of “filter“ that is above your game to improve the colors and shadows, it can also give some additional blur effects in the background. You can set everything how you'd like it and I think playing sims with the reshade on makes everything look so much nicer! So I definitely recommend it, but sadly your computer needs to be able to handle this. Last year I was playing on a crappy laptop and the reshade made everything unplayable because it got so laggy, so I had to uninstall it again.

SulziSim: You have very recently started

streaming on Twitch. How has that experience been so far?

I've only streamed two times so far, but I had so much fun! It's super nice to have some company while building and being able to connect with my community more.

SulziSim: Your Instagram and Youtube looks very cohesive. Do you think that it is important that one's social status looks nice?

They both look cohesive, because I upload the same stuff to both accounts. I think it definitely helps with growing, when you have social media platforms which are aesthetically pleasing. So for me, it's really important!

SulziSim: Do you have any other tips for our readers on how to grow their YouTube channel or social media platforms?

Just be yourself and have fun with what you're doing. Uploading constantly definitely helps, even though this can be quite stressful sometimes. And supporting each other is also super important!
