Kade McMillen, son of Dave & Chris McMillen of Carievale Saskatchewan. After graduating high school in 2018, I continued on with my hockey career, playing out my junior years with the Estevan Bruins of the SJHL. I am currently studying business at Trinity Western University in Langley BC. I am also a Usport athlete playing on the mens hockey team. In the summers, and during the covid shut down, I worked full time at the ranch.

Danielle Matonovich - 2nd year scholarship recipient

Danielle Matonovich is 18 years old and from Grandora, Saskatchewan. Danielle found a love for cattle through her involvement in 4H. Having been introduced to the Simmental breed through 4H, Danielle has been grateful to show Simmental at local, provincial and national shows and looks forward to attending many more. As a first generation beef farmer Danielle has been growing a commercial herd and recently is proud to have expanded to begin raising purebred Simmental cattle. Danielle is currently working towards a Bachelor’s of Science in Agribusiness at the University of Saskatchewan, with plans to aid in cow calf productions.

Olivia plays on the softball team for the Otero Rattlers and she will be transferring to a 4 year institution after her time at Otero College to earn her degree in Agriculutre Business and to hopefully continue her love for softball. This year will be Olivia’s twelfth year in 4-H and she has been a member of the YCSA since 2017.
