VETRA LANDSCAPE

Project designed for Milan Design Week 2019 in collaboration with studio Il Prisma. This light installation was constructed in Vetra Square, one of the central parks of the city. The temporary design consisted of two sitting areas surrounded by light sticks and its aim was to create a safe and social environment to meet people or just take time to relax. Pine wood is the main material of the project, LED bars are built-in in the vertical stakes. I took care of the layout and followed the construction process.

Light Installations

The octagonal shape of the two sitting spots is inspired by the geometry of San Lorenzo church, located in the same park. The position of these temporary architectures creates a visual connection with the historical building.
