Words from the Bishop

W

hat drew you to your church and made you want to be a part of the community of believers. Perhaps it was the love shown by the members. Maybe you liked the church music ministry or the pastors ability to teach and preach the bible. Still other might have been attracted to the congregation because of its prayer or discipleship ministry.

As we examine the characteristics of the early church. It might be interesting to see how closely our local churches

come to its example of being a healthy community of praying and sharing believers. If the church could go back to the book of Acts, where the gospel of Luke ends its record of the churches activity after Christ ascension, as the disciples fulfill Christ’s command to preach the gospel among the nation. In Luke 24:47 Jesus commanded his followers to wait in Jerusalem for the promise of his father when the disciples received this promise they would be endowed with power from on high. This infilling would equip them to proclaim the gospel by the power of the holy spirit.

We need to be baptized in the Spirit as according to Acts 1:5 “For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with

the Holy Ghost not many days hence”. We all need this infilling. This is when Jesus gave the great commission. They could nothing in their own strength. If the baptism in the holy spirit was important for the early church it is just as important for us today.

The great commission is still the obligation of all believers and without the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit the Great Work is impossible. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come they were all on one accord suddenly there came a sound from heaven as a rushing mighty wind and it filled. All the house where they were. Sitting and appeared unto cloven tongues-like as a fire and ot sat upon eachof them and they were all filled with the holy ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the spirit gave utterances. We must continue to do and be Gods people Gods way.

Prophetess Judy Hall To God Be The Glory Miracle Temple

“To God be the glory great things He has done.” Prophetess Judy Hall is indeed a great woman of faith and godly focus; she is called by God to be his mouthpiece and has allowed Him to used her in mighty ways. Many signs and wonders follow this amazing and anointed woman of God. She has dedicated her life to the servitude of God’s Kingdom, as she tirelessly fasted and prays for the deliverance of God’s people. It is indeed inspirating to watch Prophetess Hall in action, you will see a heart that is transparent with desire and readiness to adhere to God’s Word. She chooses to live her life as a vessel of Christ that injects hope into the lives of the downtrodden and hopeless. We are grateful to God for her and we pray that He continues to strengthen and encouraged her as she contiues this good work in Christ Jesus. “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Num 6:24-26 (NIV)
