Temecula Presents Student-Led Musical Theater Internship Opportunity

The City of Temecula invites middle and high school students (ages 13-18) who are interested in auditioning for an opportunity to perform and produce a musical. Temecula Presents is pleased to offer a third session of the Student Led Arts Education Internship Program that allows students to gain experience in the theater industry at no charge. Temecula's free arts education program provides youth access to three months of mentorship from professional artists and expert advisors.

AUDITIONS: NOVEMBER 12, 13, & 14, 2021

This year, we present The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum with music and lyrics by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg. Follow the yellow brick road to this delightful stage adaptation of the beloved tale featuring the iconic musical score from the MGM film. The timeless tale, in which young Dorothy Gale travels from Kansas somewhere over the rainbow to the magical Land of Oz, continues to thrill audiences worldwide. Audition for a role or interview for a production team position! Participants cast will attend classes (via Zoom and/or socially distanced in person) each week that will teach valuable theatrical skills and provide collaborative production experience.
